This morning I awoke to the sound of my desktop system moaning. Seems the CPU fan is dying, so I had to shut it down before it failed and let things overheat. It will be a week until we get paid, so I’m using the laptop (I traded something for a nice Inspiron 1525). Laptops seem to work better with Ubuntu than with industrial grade stuff like RHEL.
Meanwhile, my standard brain spew on other topics will continue.
