Seeking Romance, Part 2

By now, you should have understood this was mostly a joke.
The whole point was to show what happens if people were actually honest about their personal ads. No one sets out to become disabled and poor; not even I planned on that. I took what came my way, then obeyed what I perceived to be the leading of the Spirit. Were I more interested in selling myself, I’d have left off all the negative things and lied about some other things.
Precious few people dare to be real, and when they are, everyone runs away. Yet, by playing such silly games, you guarantee you’re hooking up with someone willing to deceive for their own ends. And you show yourself willing to deceive for less than honorable ends. We want it so bad we’ll steal it, but the only thing you can possibly steal is worth less. It may well be worthless.
What I wrote is brutally honest, both good and bad, and my conscience is clear. I’m trying to imagine a woman who could possibly have been interested, and probabilities are high she wouldn’t have access to a computer.
