I am a public advocate of Open Access (OA). I’ve already established my position on the morals of digital information:
- Why Copyright Is Unjust before God in terms of justice itself
- God’s Copyright regarding Scripture and translations
- Copyright Is Dead from the
Laptop Oracles(site is gone), which is a very terse version
So it would surprise no one that I take common cause with The Open Access Guerrilla Cookbook and the campaign behind it. No, I am not going to get involved in the activities described, in the sense I play by the rules as they exist. All my stuff is legitimate in that I comply with the system and I handle all my stuff so it stays that way. However, that does not mean I agree with the system, because I most vociferously oppose it.
Whether the people involved in the guerrilla operations ever use my help directly or indirectly makes no difference to me, either. The rules are wrong for almost everything in Western Civilization and I make no secret of my desire to see it all destroyed. I’ll play by the rules, but I advocate things I know will help to bring it down. The West is dying because of its own internal rot, but if people pay any attention at all to what I teach, it will speed things up a bit. This is my ulterior motive for supporting OA.
If my writing speaks to your soul about God’s perspective on all these things, thank Him, not me. Enjoy.
