False Enemies

“For we wrestle not with flesh and blood…”

I remember when the thundering herd of bikers came to drown out the Phelps gang protesting a local church. It was both heartening and sad at the same time. The Phelps’ church is pile of lies. But the local church in question has remained one of the most corrupt in American history, being no more than a thin veneer of Christian paint over a very powerful political engine. This is the church that would put folks on staff temporarily, meeting their expenses until the persons in question could get their political campaign fund-raising going. That’s some of their lesser sins.

Today we see an even larger group of bikers thundering their way to DC to counter a so-called “Million Muslim March” intending to protest vilification of their religion in connection with 9-11. Has it occurred to anyone that the bikers are a purely political group in disguise? Has it occurred to anyone the Muslim march is staged by big political money, too? When people began to catch onto how much of a silly stunt was Adam Kokesh’s proposed armed march, it died of itself. I wish folks would catch onto the manipulation behind most such movements. When it doesn’t start off fake, it gets hijacked real quickly.

Since before I was born, issue-based politics has been used to keep folks distracted from what really matters here in the US. Even if you ignore my political theories, you have to understand how this perverts the whole concept behind the US Constitution. Keeping everyone divided into two neatly defined camps prevents free thought. For most folks it doesn’t take a gun pointed at their heads to shut them up, just a lot of false dichotomies in politics. The few who break away and call out the liars get marginalized or killed, so the threat remains very real. Still, the majority always censor themselves by embracing one lie or another.

Did anybody notice how the bikers are splitting the Truther crowd? Some vote with the all-American bikers and some with the marching Muslims. Neat trick, don’t you think?

Hating people is a dead end. The true moral issue is domination by folks who will have their profits and all else be damned. And we aren’t likely to learn their identities any time soon, so hating them is also a waste of time, too. People aren’t the problem. When you surrender to the impulse to hate, you surrender to the real powers of Darkness.

Put on the whole armor of God.
