You must understand this: The US government treats its own people as the single greatest threat. We are the enemy. You can find benevolent individuals serving in the US government bureaucracy, but the overall trend is hatred for the citizenry. The people who actually steer the decision making process are a mixed group of plutocrats who agree only that some god has appointed them to plunder us all. There is a wide variation in their various agendas, aims and methods, but they are unified in the intent to enslave and/or kill most of us. This is reality.
We cannot help those who honestly believe our government can be reformed or steered to better ends. We also cannot help those determined even now to resist with violent force at some undefined point of no return. We cannot avoid the conclusion that the resistors can easily win if they choose. Today’s US military has proved itself woefully incapable of much beyond purposeless death and destruction. They are better at making enemies than defeating them. However, the same deep level of incompetence that cripples our military is also present in those who intend to resist. Only a tiny slice of any human population ever really understands how this stuff works, and almost no one listens to them.
From this grand diverse mix of idiots, we can on rare occasions rescue a few souls. That rescue consists mostly of disengaging the passions of partisan politics on the grounds that not a single part of Western Civilization is pleasing to our Creator. Or, if you prefer, the entire range of Western social and philosophical assumptions are utterly contrary to cosmic moral truth. We don’t merely opt out of the current political matrix in favor of a different or better party, but from the entire structure itself. Western political theory is built wholly on sand, lies of the Devil. If you engage any part of it, Satan has victory over you.
We do not offer a hostile confrontation to any of the players in this apocalyptic scene. We opt out of the scene itself.
Not in the sense we could hope to escape unscathed by the growing conflagration, but we opt out in the sense of no longer caring, of expecting no good from any part of it. Rather, we despair of human safety. For the flesh, that means fatalism, but for the spirit it means life and freedom. A critical element in moral victory is embracing mortality as a blessing from God. We aspire and desire to leave this world at the earliest opportunity from the hand of God. With the Apostles, we cry “Maranatha!” Much more than the simple words “Come Lord Jesus” in the sense of the Second Coming, it speaks volumes about wanting so very much to see first hand the justice of God played out in full in His Creation. Yes, we would love to be alive on Planet Earth when Jesus returns to claim His own out of the world so He can remake all things from scratch.
We don’t have words to convey what that would look like. But if you lose sight of that goal, you’ll get lost on the way. You’ll be hammered by a host of cares that do not belong in the Spirit Realm. You have to divorce yourself from such cares. This is what the New Testament means by making yourself ready for His Return in glory. That means you seldom comment on politics except to find ways to point out how silly and pointless it all is. We can embrace an honest and hard-headed truth about the evils of the US government, but it means making sure we understand the citizens are evil, too. Had the citizens turned to the right path, a path almost universally condemned in all of Western Civilization, we would not see this evil government preparing to make war on its own people.
That war is coming. In a broad sense, there will be no winners among humans. The plutocrats imagine themselves as godlike in their swaggering power and knowledge. They have no idea how insecure their position is. When the bloodbath starts, they’ll be shocked at their own vulnerability.
It’s not as if the war has not yet started. Our government has been murdering and disappearing people for quite some time. Now we have a broad cultural perversion among law enforcement agencies that have begun open slaughter of those who have the temerity to annoy any officer. This will surely escalate in the coming days. This thing has already started. It’s not as if you’ll see it when it reaches critical mass; this thing will be one long, painful slide into chaos. Even then it won’t be obvious chaos like you see in movies or read about in fiction books. The point here is to tear you away from a damnable trust in human nature, and most especially to help you see that your government is the single greatest threat to your human existence, and not for any justifiable reason.
Once you break free from the myth of trusting any government agent, it’s less difficult to drop your trust in your own flesh, or any human agency at all. Then you are ready to begin investing your resources into concerns that will outlive this universe.
Addenda: In response to an offline question — When was the right moment to have fought back? In my humble opinion, it was at Waco. Had the militiamen attacked the Feds from the rear once it was on TV, there might have been a slim chance of changing the course of things. Naturally, there won’t be another Ruby Ridge or Waco incident, but that doesn’t prevent me asserting it’s too late. That is, there will be bloodshed and war here in the US, but only God knows what it will look like. Brother against brother…
