It is finished. That is, aside from some insignificant bits and pieces of our mass of junk, everything is now in our new quarters. Even better, we have made extraordinary progress putting stuff away, thanks to my industrious wife.
As my regulars are likely to know, my right hip and knee are killing me. But there’s good news on that front: My regular care physician at the VA clinic is referring me to a specialist to check if I might benefit from special shoes. My right leg is slightly longer than the left. I don’t know how long it’s been that way, but the surgery on my knee and shin-bone could have made things worse. At any rate, I’m taking a break today and doing as little as possible so the leg can rest. Now that we are online here at the house, I have plenty to do as it is.
