I’ve been trying to ride a little harder this past week, so I’ve taken fewer photos. These three are the best of a bunch that just wasn’t that good. Our first image is the North Canadian River at Midwest Boulevard with a little water flowing, looking upstream.
Same river, same bridge, looking in the other direction (downstream) in the early morning light. Try to imagine the near absence of traffic and the birds singing to greet the dawn. The sunrise was delayed by very heavy cloud cover in the east, so the picture comes out just a tad dramatic.
This is a ranch that we’ve seen before, but there has been some landscaping for things like a bigger and deeper stock pond. The fields are very green this time of year. In the foreground is a field that had been alfalfa during the summer and has remained too wet since mowing, so nothing else has been planted yet. The regrowth of hay won’t get very far unless it stays unseasonably warm with no freezing for a couple of months.
The only other good shot was the one I used for the header of the blog.
