I’ve not had a lot of input on this book, so far. A few of you have been quite helpful, with suggestions of things which we should cover, but no substantial reactions beyond a slew of “likes”. Apparently my writing is so good no one can challenge it. Or perhaps it’s so bad it’s hopeless? 😉
At any rate, my part is almost done. I have another chapter in the can, and another beyond that to cover the last suggested incident we try to explain. I may try to come up with an epilogue of some sort, but then I’m done. I’m thinking tomorrow or Tuesday. If you haven’t been keeping up, you’re almost too late. I’m still hoping to have at least one more set of eyes to appraise my writing and catch the errors I inevitably miss. Did I lose you anywhere?
I’m preparing a long, single HTML file built from the contents of my chapter submissions here. I’ll read through it at least once when it’s all done and try to see if there is some rewriting needed to tighten the threading, and to make sure I’ve stayed on task. That will be posted where you can save a copy as you like. I’ll also produce a plain text copy, maybe a PDF, then see what else is needed to make it ready for publication.
At the very least, if you appreciate any part of this, I’d like to ask your help promoting it. That’s up to you. The whole idea is to get the message out, and if you believe in it, I rather hope you’ll want to pass it on. I’m not proposing any kind of copyright, just the minimum necessary for the various publishing formats. But as far as I’m concerned, it’s free to take, own, duplicate and redistribute at will. You can quote any or all of it, and decide for yourself what kind of giving credit is appropriate for the use.
Enjoy.

I would be only too happy to proofread and, if necessary, to edit the book when it is compiled. If you want to get it out to a wider audience I suggest that you take a look at Smashwords.com where I am sure it would find an audience.
BTW. I have been keeping up and I am certainly not going to criticize your writing Ed, nor the impressive volume of your output. I wish that I could knock out as many words in a day as you do.
Thanks, David. I couldn’t sleep because I was driven by words chasing themselves in my head about how to address one of your suggestions. I’ll let it rest overnight and reread it in the morning to see if it feels right.
