America has been following a concerted plan to destroy itself.
We begin with the fundamental moral statement of God’s Law Covenants: Social stability is an end in itself. The single greatest factor in moral reasoning is asking if something afflicts or improves social stability. We then go on to answer that question according to revelation. Social stability as God defines it rests upon the Ancient Near Eastern feudal social structure. It is tribal; the extended family household comes first. This is opposed to the Western mythology that places the individual above all things. God says the clan comes first, and any civil government intruding must first carry the full burden of justifying before God that intrusion. It’s no small task, and you are not permitted to use any Western reasoning to make your case.
So the starting point boils down to, “Thus saith the Lord.” If you remain firmly on Western intellectual foundations, you cannot understand anything that matters; you cannot get the right answer. You are wrong as soon as the first glimmer of conscious thought fires between two neurons in your brain.
The issue has been addressed many different ways, but I want to use known facts of behavioral science to point out the organic approach to the question. For example, a critical element in social instability in America is the serious conflict between generations. This is not the norm; this is a particular sickness of Western Civilization as a whole and a specialty of the US. We do everything possible to create that conflict.
The mere act of placing children in isolation from normal social interaction during the one time they most need to lose themselves in the dominant society is the single greatest threat to God’s command for us. Almost every other society in the world captures the moment when youth transitions away from concrete thinking toward abstract reasoning and ensures the kids interact with the previous generations. The kids are put into apprenticeship and not permitted to indulge in their own isolated age peer group. In the US, we make it the law of the nation that they must be isolated at this critical time. The result is every generation of kids has had to build their own entire civilization afresh based on some of the thinnest introduction to what came before. The one time they are least able, they are forced to build nearly from scratch.
Of course, the dominant influence on their thinking is everything other than the family. Even their teachers are a hostile influence. Having worked directly in the public education system, I assure you any words suggesting teachers are supposed to work with the parents is pure hogwash, propaganda for the parents, while the entire unstated purpose of teacher education is to prevent teachers giving parents any say at all. The professional education system becomes — de jure and de facto — the great and mighty god of the school years. That education system is truculent and hostile to the average American’s values, even while it is yet farther from God’s revealed ideals than even the average American. And then it’s all confused with a multimedia distribution system even more hostile to the family, which distribution is the primary carrier of youthful philosophy, such as it is.
Each decade sees society pushed farther and farther from the moral fabric God wove into the universe. It’s not that America failed to plan. No, American plutocrats consciously planned for America to fail.
