Vision of the Ages in the Current Context

It’s ancient; there’s nothing new about it.

How many of you have given attention to the Gospel accounts of the lynch mob whipped up by the Sanhedrin to demand Jesus’ crucifixion? Whenever the evil establishment is threatened by loss of their position, they whip up a crowd of thugs.

You can read for yourself how the current mob of thugs is being whipped into a frenzy. That link is to a whole library of brainwashing material designed to create rowdy rioters. The stated purpose is generating a mass of activists who are totally ungovernable. They are quite right in that a tiny minority can ruin it for everyone. By extension, the idea is to make the nation as a whole ungovernable.

And to what purpose? Who is doing this and what do they hope to gain? Today’s globalists stand in the place of the Sanhedrin. Jesus healed thousands because the moral disorder provoked all kinds of trouble, magnifying mere human tyranny. What kind of nightmare world do globalists plan for us? It would be an Armageddon, an apocalyptic nightmare of strict thought control as the means to control of resources. It’s Animal Farm and the pigs want to rule under the guise of fake egalitarianism. The globalist Utopia would be hell on earth, largely because Creation militates against the moral horror of it all. We were headed that way until God changed the situation.

Don’t get me wrong — the current leftist violence is not a simple matter of Trump, who is by no means any kind of symbol for our Savior. Trump is the figurehead, a manifestation of the natural human instinct for nationalism. That human instinct comes from Creation and the Spirit of God. If the Antifas should drive Trump from office, the agitation would continue against Pence and anyone else who isn’t on board the globalist train. The real sacrificial lamb here is anyone who responds to the call of God for nationalism.

Trump himself lied to everyone about his intentions in office; he’s an imperialist neocon in effect. It’s true he needs to go, but not in the way, reasons and methods espoused by the Antifas. Rather, the system that provides his position is what needs to go. We want to see it removed so that the Antifas can’t hijack it for their globalist dreams. It’s a bad system, a tempting power to oppress the whole world. It doesn’t matter whose hands are on the levers; the levers do the wrong things. The system hinders God’s revealed plan for human government in this fallen world.

It’s our good fortune that the whole thing is already coming apart. God is doing it Himself. Our part requires no active effort to fight against the structure. All we really have to do in those terms is work quite gently, to strive to live by Biblical Law of compassion against a crumbling nightmare of oppression. It’s not main force that breaks concrete with tools and explosives — that stuff we leave to God. But we are the slow drip of water dissolving it, and the gentle nudging of plant life growing in the cracks and breaking it apart. We have all the time in the world, because that’s how God does things on our level. Human efforts eventually fail and make a way for natural forces to take over and reclaim things.

That’s how God’s will works in us. It’s not blasting big holes in things; it’s letting the inherent weakness of human endeavor break it all down. Ours is the true multi-generational aspiration to pull back towards the Design of God. We don’t expect to win today or tomorrow; we don’t expect to “win” at all in any sense that human reason recognizes. Our victory is simply learning to conform to what God has been doing all along. It’s process, not results.

Compassion and mercy build up people and destroy the system at the same time.

So the most activist thing we do is inform and help reshape the human thoughts. We want to move human perception back toward the reality of human experience. We need to wash away the madness of ignoring what we all encounter in God’s hands. We must learn to celebrate how it’s different for each of us in terms of what we are most likely to notice, and focus instead on the underlying moral force that holds it all together.

God’s plan is to crush the globalist dreams. Right behind that He will hammer their allies, the imperialists. No, their ideas won’t simply go away, but the system they planned on using will be too badly broken to serve. God is destroying the system here. The globalists and imperialists will suffer loss because they are too tightly bound up in that system. He’s going to destroy it by poking at the coals of nationalism until they blaze brightly and burn the whole thing down. Most of the people involved in bringing that destruction will have no idea what they are doing; it won’t be what they imagine.

We have been granted a clear vision of these things. Our Lord is offering us a chance to meaningfully participate in that destruction, in the sense that we can support and aid any nationalist sentiment. Look for ways to restore decentralized control; that’s God’s work. This is the right way to live. This is what all the Law Covenants point to, and it’s the same patient love that characterizes the way Christ worked on the earth in the tension between the raging of fallen nature and His Father’s compassion. In this case, His compassion is the inevitable destruction of a system that enables tyranny. No need to worry about what’s on the other side of this; that’s also in God’s hands.

Yes, this is as ancient as humanity itself.

Addenda: From an interesting article by Larry Chin:

What is taking place is not simple protests from supporters of a losing political faction, but a domestic terrorism operation planned and executed by the establishment majority — supported by neoliberals as well as neoconservative Republicans — in defense of their system against perceived existential threat from anti-establishment movements. Mob violence has always been a weapon of the oligarchy. It was inaccurate and tactically stupid for Trump to call this insurrection “Alt-Left”. It is in fact a mainstream establishment operation, which uses “left”, “progressive” and antifa symbols to pursue its political objectives.

Boundary or Not

To many Christians, I sound like a conspiracy theorist when I mention the Hellenizing of Hebrew religion into Judaism. It’s particularly odd when any decent Bible college teaches the widely known history of Post-Exile Jerusalem. They talk about the conquests of Alexander the Great and how he was such a hearty evangelist of Hellenism. Some even discuss that influence on rabbinical traditions, but never connect it back with how contrary it was to the widely known mysticism of Ancient Near Eastern people in general, and of the Hebrew people in particular. That is, the vast majority of evangelical scholars act as if the Hebrew people were better off Hellenized. Thus, I get blank stares or smirks when I discuss how Jesus was trying to pull His people back to that Hebrew mysticism.

Thus, we see just how very successful the Judaizers were. Oddly, I can find a lot of material in evangelical scholarship that acknowledges the Judaizers and their influence on First Century Christianity, but these same scholars insist that Judaism is still the proper approach to Moses. Very few of them are aware that the Talmud was a perversion of Moses. They are so desperate to defend an Aristotelian and Platonic approach to Christian religion that they simply gloss over the whole question. They also flatly deny how New Testament teaching echoes of Hebrew mysticism, simply because they insist that “Hebrew mysticism” is equivalent to Jewish Mysticism and Kabbalism. What a tangled mess!

These same evangelical scholars read their theology back into the New Testament context. Honesty compels us to admit that the First Century churches were not unified in theology and practice. Most people are aware of the obvious discord between early Jewish converts to Christianity versus Gentile Christians; Acts 15 makes much of that. But if nothing else, John’s Apocalypse points out how the Seven Churches each had different teachings. You won’t find the Apostles arguing much once they get past Acts 15, but we know from hints here and there that quite a number of churches and individuals were ostracized by the Apostles. The First Century was frankly a time of theological chaos among Christian churches. The Judaizers and Gnostics ran rampant.

Worse, some of the Early Church Fathers (Christian scholars up through 325 AD) were all over the place in terms of their theology. There were some notorious debates with accusations of heresy and such, right up through the time when some portion of the leaders of organized Christian religion formalized into a hierarchy under a pope (roughly 600 AD).

In part, this supports my thesis that theology itself isn’t really all that critical. That is, formalized reasoning about religion and faith is naturally subject to variations based on individual human experience and perception. I do tend to promote certain doctrines as essential simply because I believe they are plainly stated in Scripture. But I realize that even those essentials are subject to some variation. I’m soft on such things for a reason: History indicates that it’s pointless to seek a standardized religion under the heading of Christianity. It’s better to think in terms of what you can tolerate from a fellow believer for the purpose of working together, rather than to imagine some kind of absolute truth contained in cerebral structures.

One of the things I don’t tolerate well is anti-Paulism. It’s part of my basic rejection of anyone who doesn’t hold themselves accountable to the Bible. It’s also a notorious element of the Judaizers’ teaching. A term you’ll see is “Ebionite” — there are a surprising number of folks who still believe that way. I’m acquainted with one who keeps pestering me to join him. His visceral hatred for Paul and those New Testament letters is characteristic of anti-Paulists. They consider 2 Peter 3:15-16 as a fraudulent insertion in the text.

It’s also a very popular thing in the LGBT community. The reason is obvious: Paul is the only New Testament writer who flatly condemns any alternate sexual orientation. They can dismiss the Old Testament as barbaric and mean-spirited, but they insist Jesus never condemned their sexuality. I don’t go out of my way to write much about that because all the LGBT stuff presumes a Western approach to things.

Unraveling Some Threads of Folly

There’s a long-running cult in Anglo-American history, much bigger than any single group. There is a core of belief that the Anglo-Saxons, among other Germanic tribes, are God’s Chosen. How that moved from Israel to Anglo-Saxons varies among these groups. Some of the legends include the Stone of Scone as Jacob’s pillow (Genesis 28) from the site of his dream of a stairway/ladder to heaven. There’s also the legend that some portion of the original Hebrew people migrated up into the Caucasus region and then farther north and west. There’s the legend that Peter traveled to England and founded the Anglican Church. One of the craziest notions is that the King James Version of the Bible corrects the ancient manuscripts behind the common canon of Scripture.

That last one is the teaching of Peter Ruckman. Some other labels you can associate with this is Christian Identity, Stormfront, various Nazi revival movements, the Ku Klux Klan, and British Israelism. Some of those groups argue a lot with each other over various details, but they all agree on the notion that somehow Anglo-Saxons (and their relatives) are God’s Chosen race today. It reduces holiness to DNA plus some peculiar customs. It sounds an awful lot like they hijacked the False Messianic Expectations of Jewish mythology. Instead of calling other folks “Gentiles” they use terms like “mud races” — and it has nothing to do with vehicles, horses or competitive athletics.

This broader cult is the hidden substrate behind the likes of Jack T. Chick Publications. In general terms, it backs the basic assumption that Anglo-American culture is the highest and purest expression of God’s will for mankind. This is the excuse for all kinds of mischief worldwide. It lies behind various efforts to compel the rest of the world to adopt Western democratic political customs. It’s not enough to simply argue via logic and reason that this or that is better, but the a priori assumption that whatever it is America wants is the command of God.

On another note, I get awfully tired of folks talking as if God is somehow singling out the victims of natural disasters. Houston was a swampy bayou before European settlers came along. It was notorious for hurricanes from prehistoric times. Building a major metropolis there was asking for trouble. God gave us a heart to guide our choices. We can commune with nature and know what kind of risks we take building in one place or another. The real problem is people holding forth expectations to which God most certainly didn’t agree.

The End of Religious Schlock

The cards are not in your favor, Christian bookstores; read `em and weep.

I’m just enough iconoclast to appreciate the death of so-called Christian book stores. In the middle ages it was alleged relics of the New Testament figures and various exalted “saints.” We just recently saw the end of the Jesus Frisbee. You can still buy both kinds of huckster fraud, but they are no longer so ubiquitous.

I once had a fellow tell me he didn’t like all them other kinds of Bibles, but read only the Holy Bible — meaning he was a stickler for the King James Version. “God wrote only one Bible!” There will always be a vestigial market for that kind of attitude, but it’s a lot less trendy these days, as the linked article notes.

And if you pay attention to statistics, you’ll see that mainstream Christian denominations and churches are withering, as well. Quite a few are filing for bankruptcy, having taken on massive debt and building projects right about the time Millennials came of age. But that generation doesn’t like traditional church culture, so only the trendy entertainment churches are doing okay right now. In fact, among traditional denominational churches, only those that have adapted to the entertainment model are hanging on.

I still keep really solid Christian books, particularly reference works that cover history and archeology. There aren’t that many books dealing with culture and ancient intellectual traditions, so I’m having to scratch for that from mostly secular sources. A lot of decent stuff is now on the Net, but I’m just a little concerned about what isn’t making it. This is why I keep writing on this blog. This is why I tend to focus on a somewhat more intellectual level of teaching; the ancient epistemology has long been hidden and rendered obscure. I’m counting on some of you to breathe life into that teaching with a more vernacular approach.

There’s No Saving It

The distinction between the political left and right is quite real in the minds of most Americans. It’s the structure of how the average resident of the US sees their world. Even if they consider themselves centrist, it’s a reference to the two extremes. There is a very real sharp divide that is now running out of control, but the myth of the right-left political scale is all very convenient for the plutocrats seeking to continue the plundering.

The only reason for seeking to preserve the nation as a political entity is for the sake of plunder.

A lot of smart analysts have been pointing out the very real divide for decades. In one sense, our Civil War never ended; it was an armistice at best. There were glimpses of that sectarian conflict here and there, now and then, ever since that awful messy war. So we should not be surprised that we are seeing it again now. I’m utterly convinced that this time is different, in that this is the end of America itself.

This is something I wish everyone could see: There simply is no possibility of patching this up. It’s like Humpty Dumpty the egg. All the force in the world will not put this back together again. It’s done. So any verbal pretense of debate and moving forward is sheer propaganda, a flat out lie. The only valid question is who will live where. It’s time to settle the boundaries of this very natural division. Whatever we might have been in the past, America is gone.

It is only false a dream that keeps us all locked together. I’ve already pointed out the globalists and imperialists are determined to keep it all together as the power base from which they plan to force their vision on the rest of the world. The problem with that is God is reviving nationalism. Defying God is not a wise approach to anything; that’s what went wrong with the Tower of Babel.

Again, nationalism does not depend on either left or right, but generally combines the two in what looks like a mixed approach. The false left-right divide now ceases to function as a fake structure to keep America together. America is polarized and it’s already come to bloodshed. It’s a pretty confused mess, because the left is actually just a false front for the globalists. We don’t have a genuine political-economic left in the US, but we do have an utterly implacable social left — Social Justice Warriors (SJWs). Lacking a good philosophical grounding, the SJWs are just cannon fodder for the globalists.

And that has left globalists with no choice except to turn SJWs into violent radicals with the most shallow of plans and tactics. It only appears to be working, but it will continue for quite some time because nationalists are loathe to do what it takes to shut it all down. When the leaders of Antifa and BLM start turning up murdered, you’ll know that the nationalists have awoken to the reality of things. Until then, riots and destruction will continue, and the majority of the nation will suffer.

Some have accused the “right” of being poorly organized. That’s by design; the imperialists have been using them for decades. The gut instinct of nationalism has no representation among the plutocrats. The closest we come is imperialist neocons who have done their best to confuse nationalistic fervor with imperialist designs. There’s a similar pattern on both sides of the two party system. The Democrats have never allowed genuine communists and socialists to rise in the ranks; so the Republicans have never allowed nationalists to gain any real authority. It’s not just the egregiously unfair manipulation of conventions, but outright murder of effective rebels have been covered up in both parties.

At some point the nationalists are going to learn that there can be no moral high ground in Western politics, and will discard the pretense. They may never succeed in organizing in the same sense as the neocon Republicans and globalist Democrats, but we should expect to see some genuine efforts to change the situation. The problem is that the nationalists will wait until it is too late to save the nation. Instead, they will destroy it simply because nothing else is left; there will be no other way to stop a far greater evil at the hands of the current plutocrats.

Psalm 146

These last five songs are called the Hallelujah Psalms, each marked with the Hebrew word hallelujah at the beginning and end. They were composed for daily worship in synagogues, which of course tells us they were written after the Return from Exile. Scholars tell us the language is distinctly Post-Exile.

Notice that the Covenant name “Jehovah” is repeated frequently here, though you’ll find that most English translations render it “the Lord.” This psalm celebrates the Covenant promises, speaking in particular to the context of the first few generations of Returnees. Despite the generous offerings they brought back, they faced harsh resistance, political intrigue at Medo-Persian imperial court, and genuine military threat at times. Later they were hit with famines and other trials, so that the folks struggled to eke out a life in the rubble and ruins that was Jerusalem for quite some years.

Through it all, this psalm serves as a reminder that God has forgotten neither His people nor His promises. So the psalm begins with a hearty praise to His name. As long as there is breath to praise Him, so shall we give Him the first and last fruit of the lips. He is wholly unlike mere human nobles; they will eventually die. Jehovah is utterly trustworthy because He is the source of life itself.

How blessed are those who belong to the Covenant of Israel! He is the Creator of all things, and remains as the ultimate truth when it’s all gone. He delivers final justice for those who have been violated. He feeds the hungry and frees slaves. He heals those who suffer. Surely His heart goes out to those unjustly oppressed.

He particularly loves those who seek to live by His revelation. Even wanderers and aliens in the land receive His care. He’s there with the orphans and widows. You can be sure He will not allow the wicked to escape.

So to those huddled in the City of Jerusalem, the psalmist reminds them that, while the city may have been destroyed, the God who made it His capitol on the earth never vacates His throne. He’ll still be ruling there when all things come to an end. Praise the Lord!

Substance Abuse and the Idolatry of Beowulf

The so-called War on Drug Abuse is immoral for a lot of reasons. What can we say from an approach to the question based on Biblical Law?

Remember one basic principle: Any law is evil if there is no reasonable hope of actual enforcement. It does require a heart-led wisdom to see it clearly, but that is a part of our primary critique of Western Civilization in the first place. The Drug War is a symptom of all that’s wrong with the West in general, and the US in particular. But it’s all the more so immoral when you consider that the primary flaw of Western culture is also the primary cause of the high level of drug abuse that threatens social stability.

Let’s state that again: The US legal system is a major cause of substance abuse, so any attempt at enforcement through that system is hypocritical at best.

It is a judicial assumption, flatly stated in many cases, that mysticism is a threat to social order. Think about that for a moment. We teach here that there is no objective truth, and US law bluntly contradicts that. When standing before a judge, you are not permitted to make reference to a decision process that includes a mystical epistemology in your defense. This may not be so boldly asserted in every case, but the net effect of the bulk of judicial philosophy in the US has very little tolerance for genuine mysticism.

You and I know that it is vitally necessary at times to distance ourselves from this fallen world. We need as much exposure as possible to unfallen peace and joy, communion with Creation. Without those moments of heart-led ecstasy, we lose the grip of faith, the very reason we bother to keep on living in this world. By seeking to enter into the divine Presence, we renew and refresh the purpose of enduring. It’s a vital necessity.

The legal system treats this is an illegitimate escape from social duty. You’ll find plenty of verbiage supporting the idea of a cerebral religion, but any effort to depart the shadows and deception of fallen human nature is regarded as dangerous at best. Do I need to remind you that American minds are deeply conditioned by the likes of Beowulf? What does it do to the psyche when “nature” is represented by the likes of Grendel? In that dreary saga, Grendel represents the natural world in which Anglo-Saxons once lived. Everything that falls under the phrase “the American dream” is an endless struggle to defeat Grendel. This is the psychological background of Anglo-American culture. Any attempt to build on some other foundation is called “delusion.”

In the ancient Anglo-Saxon world, the only escape was the occasional well-earned drunken celebration. Do you see where this leads? The average American mind has no place to go to escape a threatening existence except using certain lawful substances, highly regulated and taxed. And of course there is also the highly regulated and taxed medical profession with the hubris to believe mankind can fix every human ill through the mechanics of biochemistry, and so we have a ton of other stress-management substances, also highly regulated and taxed. Their existence and apparent effectiveness is a Siren Song for everyone. We should be surprised that more people aren’t abusing them.

We pretend we have the means to keep social order going by the manful resolve of folks like Beowulf. This is the Myth of the Great Man, the very foundation of Western society. Beowulf as a superhuman hero is the model of American society, particularly in legal theory. Real people who dare to suggest that they don’t aspire to that are despised by US law. God’s Word says this situation is evil, a blasphemous rejection of revelation.

Walking by heart-led conviction is the only hope we have for strength and direction. It requires mysticism. It requires humble repentance and the admission that we are weak and broken; it requires the confession that the Beowulf is a false image, a delusion, an anti-Christian idolatry. We don’t argue that drug and alcohol abuse isn’t a problem, but we drill down to the foundation of the problem: The utter necessity of mysticism has been denied those who need it most. The self-destructive escapism of substance abuse is built into America society in the first place, so any attempt to enforce strict laws about that abuse is unmitigated malice and spite.

He Still Could…

Someone asked me what I imagine it would take for Trump to turn things around. Answer: he can’t.

It’s too late for him to restore his election agenda. That’s gone. The image of manly resolve that helped sweep him into office is a one-shot deal. When he let Flynn go, his public image as a strong leader was toast. Never mind whether Flynn actually did anything bad; a real leader protects his team. But Trump had already compromised with Wall Street banking moguls, so it was too late. Some of you may remember that, before the election, I prophesied Trump had made a dirty deal and was not what he claimed.

That said, had he kept some relevant portion of his promises, he could have still pushed ahead. I’m not privy to specific failures, but it’s readily apparent he did not come charging into the Oval Office with a strong enough team to clean house. He didn’t have a strong slate of people to put into all those critical quiet positions that would have prevented derailing his professed agenda. But again, I’m utterly convinced that was all compromised before the election.

Something could still be salvaged, but he has to do one thing: reconnect with the voters. He’s not doing that; he’s coming up short. Those rallies aren’t sufficient. He needs to start cutting good solid videos with professional production and appealing directly to the people who voted him into office. He already knows how to play to the cameras and the audience and script a good presentation. While it would be cool if he could get those videos on TV, just posting them to an account on YouTube would be sufficient. If he all he did was make YouTube videos, they would spread like wildfire and rekindle that link to the masses.

Without that, there is a vacuum to be filled in the public awareness. Someone else is going to steal his thunder. I’m not in a position to guess who could do that, but right now there’s no one taking advantage of the opening. All it takes is charisma and a nationalist fervor, and we would have a new President-in-effect. That’s what the people want.

Let me be clear: A nationalist agenda is required here. That’s burned into human nature and it’s what God has revealed as a proper approach. The hand of God is what’s stirring the nationalist fervor, so it’s folly to fight that. And given the mood of the times, it could be a mix of policy that is neither left nor right, but a combination of the two. That’s not the point; what matters is that the mood of the nation is fully anti-globalist, and increasingly anti-imperialist. Someone who had a plan to put America first and stop draining off what remains of our wealth and power in pointless foreign expeditions could take it all, official government system be damned.

Keeping Track of Stuff

Contemplate the moral fabric with your heart. Consider the known history of humanity. It makes no difference what anyone suggests or promotes or agitates for, because the outcome is already in plain sight.

First, let’s describe what we are not seeing. I’ve already commented on the fracas at Charlottesville, Virginia. That was a show, the opening act of a big false flag. Some white heritage folks planned to protest the removal of a Confederate statue. Some of them were fakes, brought in on the same buses that ferried in the Antifa counter-protesters. Indeed, the guy who organized the whole protest was just months ago a lefty activist working for Obama. And if you read the reports, you know that the police were ordered to herd the white heritage group into the Antifas, and then stand back and let the violence flare. It was supposed to look like, and be reported as, a riot to kick off a campaign to remove all kinds of similar statues.

Notice that the Antifas are picking on an easily targeted fringe group, one that is mostly fake. Then they are conflating anyone who isn’t Antifa with their target. They’ve already attacked the dedicated liberal national news reporters and representatives of the left in general, same as anyone the least bit on the right. They have flatly stated that they are ready to trash the US Constitution and anything that resembles open debate. There will be no debate, only their violent protests against everyone they don’t like.

So, what are we seeing? A violent leftist group that ups the ante every week. They have already been caught throwing easily broken containers of human urine and excrement at police and everyone else. This is on top of throwing stones and using clubs and shields, along with all kinds of oddball melee weapons.

It’s possible that we will see a few more fake riots, but I think this is just practice for something bigger. What do you suppose will happen the next time the Antifas confront a more mainstream group? At what point do you suppose there will be gunfire? The mainstream right are known for concealed carry permits; Antifas are known for assault.

There is no public debate; there will be none. We are past that point. Violence and bloodshed has already started and there’s no going back. The activist left is now simply making non-negotiable demands. Elected politicians are now joining in the violent rhetoric. Meanwhile, to all appearances the Whitehouse agenda is about as chaotic as you could possibly imagine. So near as anyone can tell, Trump is by far the most incompetent President ever; he seems to have no sense at all how the system works. Worse, he has reneged on any plans to fight the system. The neocons run rampant and there is no pretense of restraint and thoughtful deliberation.

Oh, and there are all kinds of breaking points like the Debt Ceiling just a few weeks away. The chaos is like a raging plague in US government. This is part of the reality shift that makes everyone go nuts. It’s not an apocalypse, just the system breaking down. I’m hardly the only one who predicted it would be like this. However, I’m still convinced the Lord is watching over you and me, so we can focus on the mission of shining His glory into this chaotic darkness.

Radix Fidem Booklet Finished

I’m under the impression that the booklet is too short to publish on Smashwords by itself, so I’ll probably have to stretch it out with more material. That may take awhile.

Until then, I’ve punched out the booklet in multiple formats and put it on the Kiln server. They are available upon request by email.

Word format — this one prints like a booklet (2 pages per sheet), but you’ll have to tweak the page order before you commit to paper. Word offers this option; I’ve used it in the past so do the research.

Open Document format (LibreOffice) — also set up to print like a booklet, but I’ve never used LibreOffice for that, so you are on your own.

Radix-Fidem-Booklet in PDF format — this one kept the small page size so it’s still like a booklet.
