One Nation Under Satan

By no means have my convictions regarding torture changed: Torture is inherently Satanic. When any nation allows anyone in their service to torture, the entire nation comes under the control demonic forces, and justly merits God’s wrath.

Just in case you forgot the previous evidence, take a look at Chris Floyd’s review of the latest release from Wikileaks. Despite the god-awful drama and silly posturing, not to mention irresponsible and secretive squandering of donations by Julian Assange, there is some good coming from Wikileaks. This is a fresh uncovering of how thoroughly our government has decided the god we should serve is Old Scratch himself. Yes, I mean that literally.

We can abstract principles of God’s justice from the Old Testament narrative. On the one hand, God pulled Israel’s fat out of the fire for His own reasons in the case of Assyria. However, He had a distinct message which warned that might be the last time if things didn’t change. They did not change. So when the next threat, Babylon, began moving in the region, He actively aided her in taking down His own Temple. We noote He promised Babylon will get hers, but He will most certainly use one evil tool to crush other evil, particularly those who claim Him. The point is it won’t matter what excuse you offer, when you use evil, evil owns you. The door is wide open and there is no help from God.

American evangelicals in particular make all this noise about clinging to God’s Word, but willingly embrace the methods of Hell. Guess what, America? We are under God’s wrath. We have driven Him out and embraced His enemy. Torture is a blasphemous poke in God’s eye. Had we chosen the path of God’s justice, no enemy could stand before us, nor have any hope of attacking us. Remember how that Israeli Temple choir defeated three armies by simply singing as the marched? Instead, we have put our trust in human power. It will fail.

Here I sit in the middle of an empire fully devoted to evil. It’s too late to lay any blame; the wrath is on its way. My calling is not to take up arms against her, but simply to declare the reason for the impending doom. Then, because God’s Word requires I align myself with His intentions, I am praying this nation’s troops lose in battle, and some other empire destroy ours. My nation serves Satan.
