Our Injustice in Korea

So we are stirring up trouble again, this time in Korea. Our US government is jonesing for a new war to create a new public fear whip and keep us in line.

Take a look at the maps. That little island shelled by the North Koreans is way, way north of the line of demarcation (DMZ). It’s right on top of North Korea’s coast. I don’t have to know the history to tell you having South Korean troops that close to the northern coast is pushing things already. How smart can it be if you are close enough to be hit by ordinary artillery fire? Cannons can only fire just so far (I’ve served in the US Army Field Artillery, intimately acquainted with artillery range of fire). So the situation is already unjust. Then to provoke things as the South loves to do…

God will not bless our involvement there. We might do just fine in battle. I understand the South did more damage than the North did in this last round. But this is a setup for invasion from the South, fishing for an excuse. I wonder how the Chinese will view that? Wonder how they will react to our backing in this provocation? We are more vulnerable in other ways than they are militarily.

I can’t say, “God help us.” He won’t allow me to cry out on behalf of our criminal nation. We tolerate a criminal government, so we are in on this. What I can say is, “God have mercy on your peaceful saints who refuse to support this evil.”
