You deserve it Ed. How do you keep it up?
First, I have time for it. Second, I have an inclination, a burning desire to write something every day. Third, I generally have something to say, but that’s more complicated to explain. I suppose that one shows up in the content of the writing itself. It’s a sense there is such a great distance between what I see around me and what I want to see. But the desire is compelling enough for me to say, “what I ought to see.” Finally, I write what I learn in the process of what others ought to see in me. Without that moral imperative, I’d have nothing much to say.
