Leadership versus Management

Leadership is doing what’s right regardless who follows. Management is trying to control the outcomes, regardless how it’s done.
It would be easy to spill out a long post here by expanding and expounding on this, but I feel confident you get it. I don’t want followers. I want you to have your own vision of moral necessity. If you don’t have one, borrow mine long enough to understand what it’s all about, then head out on your own path.
It won’t matter who follows if you know what you’re seeking. Of course, someone always will, at some points. Your greatest gift is keeping your hands to yourself, as it were, and letting them work it out for themselves.
