The Next Book: Game

I’ve been wrestling this for at least a couple of weeks. I wasn’t sure how to proceed until today. The core of my book will be The Oracles of Marriage (no longer available). In the process I’ll update that work, probably make it longer, but I’ll be adding a wrapper of sorts.

The working title is A Christian Guide to the Sexual Marketplace. Because of how people tend to react to anything on this subject, I’ll be writing it with a personal tone, instead of the third person. I will also not be serializing it here or on Facebook. That is partly because of the hassles involved in the editing process with transferring the content between applications, but there are other considerations. The larger reason is more complicated.

I got good support on The Mind of Christ. However, on all the projects since then my friends have not had time to help when I needed it. That’s not a criticism; that’s reality. We are each on our own calling and schedule and we do what we must. In this case, the subject matter alone draws all sorts of input from people who are not my friends. Worst of all, they ignore or reject my fundamental point of view. I don’t need advice from people with a hostile cultural orientation. My friends won’t see anything new, so it’s not like you’ll miss much. The free book will be available for review before publication for those who ask.

That won’t keep me from posting here and on FB observations that seem important as I progress.
