An End Is Near

Virtual, de facto, or plainly literal — it makes no difference. God reads the hearts of men. While His actions may seem slow on the human scale, He does not necessarily wait for men to act before He pronounces judgment. Human actions are merely the manifestation of a deeper evil.

Just one more vote, and the US Senate declares war on Iran; another seven after that is a veto-proof majority.

President Obama has admonished supporters of the bill to be honest that it is a de facto vote for war with Iran. The bill doesn’t explicitly call for a US attack on Iran, but endorses the idea of Israel attacking them whenever they feel like it.

Never mind that I despise Obama; when he’s right, he’s right. Modern Israel bears no legitimate relation to Israel of the Bible, so supporting this Israel is supporting a vast, unspeakable violation of God’s Law Covenants. If you are standing on the wrong side of God’s justice, you don’t want to see His hands at work.

I remain utterly certain that God will not allow us any measure of victory against Iran. The prophetic word of warning remains firm. No, Jehovah hasn’t revealed to me how things will turn out in concrete terms. That simply does not matter. His wrath has long rested upon the U.S. for a lot of other serious sins, but this will bring on something Americans would never expect to see. It’s not the end of the world, but it does signal the end of America in the sense of what folks recognize.

The only righteous prayer now is that God’s hand will be clearly revealed, that His glory will shine like a supernova so that none can offer any excuse. As a corollary, let His righteous ones find mercy in this time of trouble.

Pray that you can discern how to splash the Blood of the Lamb on your doorposts.
