Be Not Dismayed

Do not fear; for I am with you; be not dismayed; for I am your God. I will make you strong; yes, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness. (Isaiah 41:10 MKJV)

Context: The Lord wants Israel to understand that He can handle any mass of heathen idolaters who rise up against them. It is not the greatness of Israel, but the greatness of her God that made the difference. So you and I should not fear though all the world seem intent on crushing us. Whatever heathen self-made gods humans choose to serve cannot transgress the hedge God plants around our lives. Watch and react for His glory, and let Him handle all the things you cannot change.

1. Ads Tracking between DevicesIt’s already happening. Some ad companies are using hypersonic signals, inaudible to humans, but able to communicate between devices you may have running in the same room. Specifically, if you have one of these hypersonic ads displayed in the browser of one device, it will emit the sound into the room where other devices with microphones can pick it up and register it, typically with some kind of response the advertisers can read later. Obviously there are limits, but if your cellphone, tablet and/or other computer devices have speakers and microphones, the hypersonic communication will work without bothering to tell you.

If you run Windows, Android or any Mac OS on such devices, make sure only one is powered up, because this stuff appears to work when the receiving device is in sleep mode. Use adblockers — my favorite is uBlock. If you don’t use the microphone on your device, find out where it is and cover it with something like a small patch of Moleskin or any cushioned tape or other adhesive that is palpably thick.

Advertisers cannot justify tracking us; it’s immoral. Fight it in accordance with your calling from God.

2. US College Protests over Racism — This is not at all a grass roots issue, but heavily funded and organized by various political front organizations linked back to George Soros and friends. This is more of the same stuff he funded in Ferguson. This is fake, a manufactured hysteria designed to distract. I’m hardly the only observer who thinks plutocrats are trying to provoke a violent race war. Consider what’s really going on and see how silly it is.

3. Terror Attacks in Paris — In recent years, not a single “terror incident” in the West turned out to be genuine. They were all manufactured or false-flag operations. We have no reason to think this one is any different. So let’s pretend the attack on Paris was run by ISIS or ISIS supporters; ISIS is organized, funded and equipped by the US and allied clandestine services. It’s hard not to know that. Several ISIS commanders have been identified as CIA, Mossad, etc. Turkey sells oil for ISIS. How many NATO nations are actively involved in keeping ISIS alive? This is just another false flag, and it probably won’t matter who actually did it, because the whole point is the propaganda effects.

4. Fake Disaster Prep — If you chase enough search engine links to “prepper” sites, you quickly realize this is all about selling crap few people really need. It’s not that I suggest there is no danger, but that you cannot rely on the fear-mongers who have a sales pitch. Follow your heart and embrace the consequences of where God leads you. If that means facing deprivation and living on the streets, do so with joy and peace, because what God calls you to do places you where He wants you.

But this same crap bleeds over into computer technology. I can’t count how many services are sold at exorbitant prices for extreme privacy. Folks, the nature of the Internet itself is anti-privacy. Once digitized, forever public — memorize that. You can use encryption for a time-delayed exposure, but eventually it will be decrypted. Meanwhile, using it very much is simply marking yourself as a potential troublemaker. With God as Lord of the Internet and the contextual application of His divine moral character in the virtual realm, I assure you the only proper objective in computer security (CompSec) is simply maintaining control over your device (it’s called “stewardship” of God’s property in your use) and making sure no one changes your message. Everything I preach here about CompSec is aimed at those two valid concerns.

God makes a way for everything He calls us to do for His glory.
