Activate the Nodes

Just a short reminder: Reception of the truth into the mind from the heart uses the same part of the brain where the imagination is found. We could say it’s all in the wiring. Your heart addresses the mind in the same nodes as fantasy imagery, though it uses all senses. If your mind is primed and ready, then the heart can easily point out the visions of angels, demons, the songs of Creation, and you will feel the sorrow of human activities that violate God’s moral character.

Every miracle of God, including divine revelation, comes with plausible deniability. While there is a difference between an image from the heart and your own fleshly wishes and fantasies, the difference is subtle. You are the only one who can learn it for yourself, but I can tell you the truth comes packaged with conviction. Convictions register in another part of the mind: the conscience. A message from God in the heart tends to come with both extravagant sensory imagery plus a sense of conviction.

The other thing is simply getting used to paying attention to those things. Your conscience will come pre-loaded with a lot of moral nonsense, but you still have to obey it as best you can. Taking its message seriously is how you train it to be more perceptive. As your mind is cleared of false moral understandings, your conscience becomes more accurate and more trustworthy. But you cannot make it work right until you start obeying it in the first place.

Walk in the light you have.

I knew it! For a while I kinda thought I was going a little nuts, as I knew this sort of instinctively. Maybe you’ve said this before and I didn’t catch it.

As it is, I’m oversimplifying things when I write that. If you can’t imagine trees talking to you, then your mind cannot process it when your heart does hear them. I noticed it triggered a lot of childhood fantasy memories, stirring the same part of me, yet it was far more concrete and didn’t require me to build an image. This is why we teach that children are the best place to start teaching this stuff.
