Lord, Set Your People Free

I’ve been seeking a theme for this prayer protocol, something that would help drive it forward. For now, it’s the image of seeting God’s people free.

I don’t consider mainstream churches the enemy, at least not yet. They are simply misguided. Unfortunately, nothing I can do or say would fix that problem. As long as the leadership are locked in by various false interests, they aren’t going to make the fundamental changes called for.

We know what those changes are. I’ve tried my best to enunciate them, starting with the Radix Fidem outline and various restatements to flesh out that summary. The church needs to move away from the Western orientation, establish the principle of heart-led (or conviction-led) faith, and a restoration of the Covenant (AKA, Biblical Law).

Unless the leadership starts moving in that direction, the prayer is for an exodus. We should be calling out for the Lord to set His people free from the deception that hides their divine heritage from them. It turns out that this is also the best way to pray about the rising tribulation.

So that’s the theme I use in my daily prayer walk around my neighborhood: Lord, set Your people free.
