Mystical Warfare

Our warfare is not as their warfare.

Then I heard a loud voice in heaven saying, “The salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the ruling authority of his Christ, have now come, because the Accuser of our brothers and sisters, the one who accuses them day and night before our God, has been thrown down. But they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die.” (Revelation 12:10-11 NET)

The single greatest difference between us and all those who count us as enemies is that we don’t mind dying. Their ultimate victory is no defeat for us.
Try to understand how this applies to the oppressive human governments, as well. The US government rules by threats of violence and taking away all the comforts of our human existence. When we commit ourselves to giving up those things in the first place, there is nothing left for them to use against us.
The primary battlefield, as defined in Ephesians 6:10ff, is our very own souls. We fight to expel the influence and power of demonic authorities over our decisions and actions in this world. Human failure in pursuing the commands of our Lord’s Laws is expected; He programmed failure into it. Do you not understand the meaning of that vast system of ritual sacrifice? It warns us our fleshly existence cannot be perfected, that even with full sincerity we cannot perform.
The sole objective is overcoming our hostile commitments. Holiness is measured as a desire in the heart. In this day and time it is by no means far-fetched to imagine evil human forces capable of using technology to compel physical and even intellectual compliance to their designs. But they cannot create a sincere commitment of the soul. The human will is beyond their reach, especially when it is wired into the Spirit Realm.
We struggle to create an existence that breathes life into God’s revelation. The simplest explanation is a heartfelt commitment to His Laws as Jesus taught them. Not so much the Laws themselves, but the Laws as a manifestation of God’s personal desires for us. So we study those Laws, trying our best to abstract for our individual selves what is required. You bring Jesus to life as He would be had He been born in your place.
Our Lord promised He would use us in that state to touch whomever He decides to touch. We are direct participants, though how He uses us in bringing to birth His Spirit in other people is utterly incomprehensible to a human mind. All we need to know is that’s how He wants us to proceed for His purposes.
Merely the desire for a fresh incarnation of God’s Spirit is all the victory we need.

Muffled Cries of Injustice

You cannot justify ever trusting anyone representing the government system.
No, it’s never 100% the same in all places at all times. Rather, I offer here a description of trends. But as surely as God exists, you cannot possibly hope to convince people in authority to care about your real needs. When things get the least bit challenging, they will always treat us and handle us according to their need to stay in control. Press them much at all and they would rather we all die before they would surrender their power.
Go ahead; start working on it now. Get up a campaign and demand to be heard. Use whatever leverage you can muster and don’t let them ignore you. Make them sit still and listen. When the day comes something like a disaster strikes, everything you’ve demanded, everything to which they officially agreed in writing, will go out the window. Even if you could overwhelmingly replace everyone in office with your own slate of candidates serving your agenda, it won’t change the system. It has come a long, long way from what it once was even during my lifetime.
When the next disaster of any sort rolls through your community, any contact at all you have with police, and sometimes firemen, will likely be very unpleasant. If it happens they are vastly undermanned, totally overwhelmed by the scale of things, some outside agency will send in “help.” There is only one objective for any emergency assistance of that sort: control. Sure, they might feed you, clothe you and house you. They’ll also take away everything you have in the process, making the situation virtually identical to prison. They’ll have all sorts of excuses why it has to be that way, but they are likely to abuse you and kill you if you try to strike out on your own. And don’t you dare try to communicate with the outside world, especially regarding their complete lack of interest in human need.
That there will be some sort of disaster or crisis is virtually guaranteed. We are under God’s wrath and it’s building. Natural disasters are already scaling upward. Social unrest is guaranteed in at least a few places here in US as government policies and taxation become more oppressive. That’s also just getting started. Some parts of the country are doing okay locally, but no matter where you live in the US, chances are, if not you, then someone you know will go through a serious crisis this calendar year.
If your local government acts halfway reasonable, it’s that way already. There are too many factors involved to reduce to a paragraph here, but it does happen. Otherwise, if you have experienced bad behavior from authorities in the past, it will only get worse. I’ve seen how the authorities handle disasters here in Oklahoma County. I have experienced mind numbing, heartless abuse during that time. I know the whole story of why, but getting anyone to listen and consider changes took about ten seconds for them to dismiss. That was fifteen years ago and I have inside knowledge that it has only gotten worse. This, in a place where things are considered pretty easy with a government that tends to be comparatively responsive. It was right after my several years of service in the US Army Military Police. My professional experience meant nothing to them.
Accountability is just a word in the dictionary. You and I are accountable to them as resources needing management, nothing more.
By no means do I suggest we ramp up to fight this. I offer this warning simply for the sake of awareness. If you know it’s coming, you won’t be so shocked and make stupid mistakes that hurt yourself and others more than is necessary. Sure, if you have an escape, use it — any way humanly possible. Stay out of their direct control. Otherwise, start praying now for wisdom so that you can be a blessing and a voice of peace and stability when everyone else acts crazy.

Be Ready

For those who share some of my beliefs, it is utterly necessary we arm our souls for what’s coming.

It is impossible to overstate the necessity of understanding how propaganda and various forms of psychological warfare work. My personal experience is widely varied. If there is anything about my experience that gives me an advantage, it would be the awareness I had going into it. Somewhere early in my life I was alerted to the psychology of manipulation. While I remained vulnerable to various measures for a long time after, I was able to evaluate the experiences and make some effort to shed the long term effects. I know without a doubt there are great many others out there who are stronger and know more than I.

But I was trained in methods of interrogation and the ways most people respond to conditioning. One thing stood out in that training: There were two kinds of people you can’t interrogate effectively. First, there will always be someone sharper than you.

They’ll win every encounter; you discover them by the first couple of questions and comments, as well as minor subtle techniques in how they are handled while in custody (some of it is specifically designed to provoke a reaction). Second, there will also be a tiny handful so completely different from the mainstream that there is not a thing you can do with them. They might be some degree of mentally disturbed, but for whatever reason, they simply do not respond to the standard expectations. They are wild cards who are totally unpredictable.

Only your DNA and education can make you the first kind, sharp enough to challenge highly trained manipulators. But everyone who seeks true spiritual development can graduate from being sheeple and become part of the second group.

A critical element is learning the instinct to pull away from the habits that channel you and keep you vulnerable to the programming. While I doubt there is a single human entity running the whole show in the US, you are surely aware of the various sources of subtle and nasty conditioning being pushed into our faces every waking moment of every day. I’ve discussed Game Theory and feminist mythology programming in our society here. I’ve talked about key words, hot button issues and emotional stirring, etc. God knows I’ve spilled trillions of electrons countering Western epistemology and all the intellectual manipulation we see across the face of much of this world.

So I generally hate videos as a means to propagating information. The medium itself is well known for conditioning people to lower their internal barriers to propaganda. It has been used that way for quite some time. I can’t get Christians to understand that, just because videos seem effective, it does not mean they are good for godly training. The apparent effectiveness is part of the larger deception that Satan uses to keep people weak and easily manipulated. Spiritual growth makes you resistant to such means; it doesn’t capitalize on them. If you can’t stop watching TV and movies, you will remain vulnerable like an addict. I don’t mean religiously avoid them, but develop a high conscious resistance. Don’t watch TV for entertainment, but only for information. Learn to turn away when it becomes too interesting.

I am still forced to use video from time to time because the people with the information and the skills to present it don’t understand; they actively participate in keeping their viewers weak to the very threats they are warning us about. So I’m going to link to one today:

In no uncertain terms, let me warn you: The US government hates Christian Mysticism. Standard evangelical Christianity has long been tamed and is currently well enough controlled to serve the State’s purposes. Evangelicals only imagine they are persecuted because of the false partisan divisions used to keep society distracted. But if you embrace the otherworldly mindset of Scripture, you are a living threat to their system of control. Were I to write a complete manual on resistance, I’m not sure it would contain anything different from the material I’ve already piled up on this blog and my static website (site is gone now). The government has their manuals already in place, too, as the video indicates. Yes, the purpose of this military document is sinister, as is a great deal of what the military has been doing for a great many years. I can’t tell you how often I read something or was taught something in the military that God directly condemns in Scripture.

The whole idea is not to play their game, not to live your life in the shallow portion of your soul where they want you. This isn’t about getting you to do what they want; for the most part Our Savior encourages that. This is about displacing Him in your heart. The US government insists on being your God. This is same thing First Century Christians faced with the worship is Caesar. The difference is, now you are required to worship the impersonal State. This is the thing you must resist.

No Common Cause

I’m haunted by Jeremiah 16.

The Lord tells Jeremiah that, in essence, he must not make common cause with the people of Judah. He’s not to join in their celebrations or other observances. Don’t get married; don’t have kids; don’t get involved in their social rhythms at all. Jeremiah notes it is impossible for him to simply feel nothing about the people, but realizes such feelings can easily become deceptive.

This haunts me because I feel myself in a similar situation. I’m not worthy to empty Jeremiah’s chamber pot, but I understand how he feels. The only applicable covenant to the US is Noah. That’s specific enough because we have failed the whole thing. We haven’t managed to keep any part of it.

For my nation, there is no Exile and Return because we don’t have a mission to produce the Messiah. Worse, we would have murdered Him a million times over if we could. Even more heartbreaking is the horrific responsibility of American Christians in making things worse. They have embraced the lies of the Pharisees and don’t even know it. They are just as closed to the truth as the Pharisees were, in a tight loop that excludes the truth before discussion starts.

Yes, I’m referring to embracing Hellenism or Western epistemology. You can’t be Western anything and understand the Bible. You won’t catch me claiming I’m the only one who does understand it, but I know for certain you can’t bring a Western epistemology to an Ancient Hebrew mystical book and expect to get it. This alone alienates my from most American Christians, and even more so from the general run of the population.

Sure, a strong empathy for individuals still holds me. I care about people, but I care about them getting right with God. How do I explain that God gave me some sort of internal switch? There are times I simply turn off the emotions about things, even when I see horrific suffering. I have to, or I’ll go insane. I’ve already seen a lot of suffering and it’s just getting started. That’s because I know beyond all doubt Americans as a whole have rejected God’s Laws in every way possible. We have demanded God destroy us by poking Him the eye repeatedly.

So I don’t make common cause with Americans as Americans. I want no part of what Americans have done to earn God’s wrath. Only those who repent truly and embrace His Laws as taught by Christ can share the divine citizenship that calls me. I’m just passing through this land as an alien. I’m calling anyone able to hear, “Come out from among them.”

Lord, “You are the One I can run to for safety.”

Crisis Feint

The recent noise about budget sequestration was just that: noise. The real danger lurks off the MSM news studio screens.
It’s not as if we aren’t having a real crisis, but the story about budget cuts was pure hype. Everything Obama said would happen was a lie, a flat out lie that he knew as false. Yes, Obama is evil, but that’s no surprise. Almost the entire federal bureaucracy is evil. They lie to us and their lies are harmful, promoting their own interests as humans. And wherever you see the lies parroted, regardless of the credibility of the source, mark them as liars. You can find plenty of people in the alternative press, blogs and so forth, crying about how bad it will be when the budget cuts start hitting.
Fact: This business of an $85 million budget cut is actually a reduction in budget increase. The federal budget is still bigger than before, has actually grown a bit despite this sequestering. So here we are a few days into sequestration and nothing has changed. That is, the program reductions are pure theatrics, because the money they wanted for things they dare not tell us about has been pulled from stuff we are likely to notice. It’s called the Washington Monument Syndrome.
Meanwhile, DHS has just purchased more than a hundred MRAP armored trucks, to go with several million rounds of ammunition that is never used in mere target practice because it’s way too expensive for that. Yes, the federal government is preparing for social instability and making sure they have the means to shoot a lot of us. (Update: Make that 2717 MRAP armored trucks.)
Let’s understand something: The entire US economy is artificial. With the exception of a relative tiny handful of folks pulling the strings, everyone plugged into the financial system has no idea what’s on the other end of that cord. They know what they’ve been told, but only a little research is needed to discover it’s all a big lie. No one in the US government has much say in the economy. Congress is permitted to make minor decisions about how the manipulation may benefit them personally, but the fundamentals are controlled by a shadowy banking elite. Most of what we experience is pretty much under their management. It has been rigged for about the past century. The whole idea has been for the plutocrats to scrape off an escalating percentage of our national productivity without it being noticed. Most of what we thought was prosperity was merely the artificial means of keeping us engaged productively.
These things can work only so long before people start figuring it out. Every horrific thing they want to do to us has been leaked, because that’s how God operates. Throughout history, God has always steered human events to insure sin is uncovered sooner or later. While the Internet has played a part, it was actually a rather late addition to what was already going on by other means. As awareness has increased over the past century, the system for scalping us has been weakened. Thus, the plutocrats plan to bring it all down at some moment to their greatest advantage.
(Never mind; this turned out to be a very unreliable story filtered through ostensibly trustworthy fronts.)By the way, there is an odd collection of recent moves, in which the old generation of plutocrats have been pulling out of the system. Maybe it’s just a coincidence, but if you ignore the official propaganda regarding why, you see a large number of financial blue-bloods have withdrawn. For example, a significant figure in the Rothschilds family has recently set up quarters in Fiji. A bunch of high level management is bailing out of their own companies’ stocks. Several royal families are passing the crown all at once. Massive hoards of precious metals and other assets are being moved. These things seldom come together randomly in such density.
If and when the US economy goes into official crisis, it will be wholly manufactured, utterly fake. The consequences and blowback will be entirely too real, but what’s behind it is scripted in a certain sense. However, these are mere humans, subject to serious miscalculations. Not all of those who pull the levers are working from the same agenda. Things should be quite entertaining if you don’t take it too seriously.
Wise as serpents and harmless as doves — we aren’t supposed to take this world and its concerns too seriously. Sure, it will be painful, but that’s the reality of life after the Fall. It’s not as pleasant as say, a dream where Taylor Swift is courting me, but it’s just about as real in terms of what matters. Fundamental to the morality of being spiritually awakened is we don’t judge those still asleep, since we have no way to change their situation any more than they do. Paul said they can’t even want it until God touches them. All we can do is offer the truth; if it sounds like madness, we take no offense at their mocking laughter. We don’t have time for that. We are too busy serving the Living Truth. If they slander Him and blaspheme His name, we know He will handle it.
Yeah, I’m a nut. Don’t trust me.

I'm Not Moses

There is a sharp division between my ministry and teaching versus that of mainstream Western Christianity, but I’m not at war with it.
I’ve abandoned the practice of hanging around their organizations and meeting places. Naturally, quite a few are simply not comfortable for me in the first place. I am a mere human. Others have made it clear I can’t speak my beliefs on their property. By no means would I actively encourage anyone to follow my example. Rather, I warn those who have an affinity for my teaching that they are likely to experience something similar if they dare to open their mouths. A basic principle I follow is that no one should have to put up with me if I make them uncomfortable. There are times and places where physical proximity is unavoidable, but I’m unwilling to interfere with the ministries of others.
I can’t confine God to my experience. Still, I can’t offer more than that; but you aren’t me, and my God is too big for any sort of confinement. I openly teach no human capacity can encompass merely what He has chosen to reveal to all mankind. I also teach the crux of our dealings with God, the higher objective to which His revelation points, takes place far above the ability of the human mind in the first place. How can we pretend to define the limits of those things we can’t even discuss? Nothing in my work should confine your thinking and your expectations about your personal dealings with God.
Paradoxically, this is precisely what chokes those who most stoutly defend Western Christianity in all its forms and flavors. There are so many formalized sectarian structures simply because they insist it all has to fall to some degree within parameters of human management. I’m less concerned about rituals and organizational management than I am about the theology management. Almost all efforts at Systematic Theology are inherently wrong for the simple reason they try to build a manageable system. It becomes a means of confining people, keeping them from serving God.
When I make pronouncements about things, I never pretend what I offer constrains you. I’m only sharing what I experience. If it fits, if it calls to you, then use it. Ask questions; explore it in your own way. If it does not fit, you can safely ignore me and I won’t hound you about it. But if you do come to me, you will only get what I have. Yes, I am utterly convinced that what I say applies universally, but I also freely admit you don’t have to buy it. Further, the only way I’ll push you away is if you actively interfere with the driving imperatives of my soul.
Jehovah offered a single example of a nation under a specific covenant. It didn’t work, not because God failed, but because mankind cannot find redemption in that path. You can imagine all sorts of criticisms you might offer God for His design and implementation, but that’s not your place. As Creator and Master of all things, we have to deal with Him as He is. So the idea of all working together in the flesh is always a pipe dream. Yes, we could share a community of common faith in sufficient measure to form a congregation, but there are distinct limits because we remain fallen at our best. We aren’t supposed to take things so seriously as to imagine God will refuse to deal with someone who is different from us. We don’t have to let them hang around if it causes too much trouble, but we don’t restrain the hands of God. Everything is fluid here because of the vast mismatch between flesh and Spirit.
One thing which burns in my heart right now is the utter certainty God is very unhappy with Western Christianity in certain areas. But every time someone tries to tell the churches, they always stir up their emotions and intellect, and insist that’s how God works. They engage in reforms, rather like rearranging deck chairs on the sinking ship. Will there ever be a way to break that spell? Well, in human terms, we see Jesus didn’t succeed too well against the same spell gripping the religious leaders of His people. No, Jesus didn’t say much about Hellenism or Aristotle because those weren’t common terms of discussion in His day. However, it doesn’t take a genius to see those things were a big problem for Him. Unfortunately, the best scholarship regarding the debate between Western and ANE epistemology are folks outside the churches, for the most part. You just about have to step outside Christian scholarship to see it clearly, and that’s very sad. It’s sad because it gives the theologians an excuse to dismiss the whole question. How often can you bump into hierarchical authority or “propositional truth” before you get tired and sore?
In the end, I have to take up my own cross and let my Father handle the rest. All I can do is tell the folks who might be willing to lend an ear. It’s not up to me to convince people. Humans can reason and even manipulate each other, but a genuine transformation on the spiritual level where things really matter is far beyond me. That’s the whole point. For me, it seems the churches have driven off some of ripest spiritual harvest because they aren’t working on that level in the first place. I’m praying that the Lord can find workers acquainted with the Spirit Realm so we can get to the real harvest. I’m trying to open the doors of awareness to things our civilization would rather exclude, which is where God happens to operate.
I’m not the enemy of the churches, but they seem too willing to be mine.

Malachi: Intro and Chapter 1

Intro
Nothing in the text allows us to fix a date for Malachi’s prophecy. From his message we surmise he was easily a century after Haggai and Zechariah, perhaps somewhat after the reforms of Ezra and Nehemiah had worn off. We will assume here a date close to 400 BC. It seems obvious the people of restored Judah had failed to hold onto the fire of his predecessors’ message. Whatever it was God offered as the great possibilities for obeying the Covenant never came because the people never quite obeyed.
Chapter 1
His name means “My Messenger.” The prophet briefly introduces his writing as a prophetic burden, a common Hebrew expression for a heavy responsibility from which he cannot escape.
His message begins framed as the people questioning the declarations of God. The Lord says He loves Judah. The people look at their circumstances and say they don’t feel very loved. The reply begins by comparing Judah, as the surviving representatives of Jacob, against those of his brother, Esau. God doesn’t have to justify His choices to anyone, but He chose Jacob against all the rules and laws of human custom at the time. When Babylon’s troops came rolling through, they captured Judah for exile, but nearly wiped Edom from history altogether. A tiny handful of survivors were driven out into the wastes. No buildings were left standing in Edom; the old town sites became the haunts of wild animals.
Judah got a chance to return, while the Edomites were struggling to rebuild their very existence. So the Edomites proudly boast that they’ll return and rebuild, too. God says it won’t matter, because He had plans to crush them again. We note a Bedouin nation drove them out of their homeland a century or so later.
Then the Lord asserts the priesthood has treated Him with contempt. How does one state the utter stupidity of this? Their whole profession is glorifying Jehovah. They act so very innocent, asking how God could make this accusation. It wasn’t enough that they had reduced the whole thing to mundane routine, but they thought nothing of treating the Temple as a dumping ground for food no one would eat. God declares He can find no excuse for them even showing up in the Temple. Might as well seal the doors shut and pretend there is no God at all. Indeed, the Lord says He will respond as if they don’t believe He exists.

Justice, Not Profit

God says if you do business His way, He’ll take care of you.
We are headed for some really bad times. Most everyone will suffer some; the plutocrats who think they are safe will eventually be crushed by God. That’s His way. However, this is not the end of all things — not yet. It is entirely possible for you to profit when the whole world is going broke. The starting place for your decisions is what you can do or make as compared to what people want and need. If you can find a path that keeps you working at things God says are good business, you can make it. As always, we are talking generalities. If you want details and specifics for your situation, you’ll need a spiritual link for a Word from God, either your own or some other reliable source.
It won’t matter what you believe or feel; if you can get your head around the moral imperatives of His Laws, He’ll protect your business. The first thing you have to do is get rid of the profit imperative, because that’s a different god. If you are going to worship Mammon, don’t pretend you are a Christian or otherwise following the ways of Jehovah. In case you don’t get it, the entire range of Western MBA ethics and practices are a close approximation of the religion of Mammon.
The operating objective is human need. God says the ultimate human need is social stability. It is neither yours alone, nor someone else’s, but yours along with those in your market, all in one basket. If you can’t embrace the fundamental commitment to the community and social stability, you will contribute to bringing God’s curses down on yourself and everyone around you. God will set the demons loose on you. You can’t define ethics according to Post-modern Western social expectations; those are inherently evil. You can’t work off the old “be a good neighbor” American social expectations. You can start there only under the assumption you expect to learn better. Under God’s Laws, you enter business to participate in the blessings of God’s Justice.
This is not communism, either. That presupposes a very human standard that is simply the backside of other “isms” God doesn’t like. Nor should you get hung up on apparent success in any particular train of human logic. Success is measured by your sense of peace, which you can only get from embracing God’s moral imperatives as revealed over the centuries, mostly in the Bible. Read it from the Ancient Hebrew perspective in which it was written. Your market is your virtual family; treat them accordingly. You don’t have to let people mooch, but you do have to offer what you have in a way God will bless. The Apostle Paul said no loaf for the loafer, which means you don’t support bad habits, but he also said help your neighbor when his fortunes turn sour despite good faith effort. You have to develop a sense of His Justice in addressing the larger needs of social stability.
It’s personal. Don’t pretend all humanity is one single thing. Give everyone personal attention; never try to automate the human touch. There are a wide range of overlapping facts about people as people, but you are personally liable under God’s Justice for each individual encounter, including business dealings. It is perfectly justified to jack up the price for someone who egregiously violates your best understanding of God’ Justice, but it’s not okay to gouge for the sake of mere profit. Profit is a tool to keep you in business, not the objective. God stoutly promises you will profit if you please Him. If things turn sour, try to discern where you come up short and fix it. Accounting and market technology is all well and good, so long as you keep your eye on what matters most, and it’s not profit.
Greed is not good and business failure is not evil. You don’t have to run a charity, but your actions need to be charitable in effect. If your focus is social stability, then you will avoid doing things that jerk your employees and customers around. Your employees are your personal responsibility as de facto family, even if they aren’t blood kin. They are your dependents, not some objectified resource. It’s personal; you are the shepherd and they the sheep. Take the wool in season but look out for their long term welfare, remembering you can only do what you can do. Their feelings aren’t really the issue, but you offer a clear understanding of anything they ask and don’t keep secrets.
Discriminate. With your eye on God’s Justice, treat your employees according to their general behavior. If they are useful, tolerate as much idiocy as you can and help the other employees do the same. Don’t make anyone suffer for the stupidity of another. Then again, the world is generally stupid and some things can’t be helped. Your job is to balance things as best you can. Reward faithfulness in those who embrace your interests; encourage that. Don’t be mercenary and don’t tolerate it from anyone else. It’s not a question of mere results, but the broader functioning of the micro-society of your business and the broader society in which you operate. Social stability is fundamental to God’s Justice.
If you do this, your business might still fail, but not on your account. If you seek His approval, one business failure is the gateway to another better one. He truly is looking out for your best interest, but you have to make the effort to understand what He thinks that is. What you look for is not all the things your MBA classes and marketing thugs tell you. You look for a modicum of prosperity, reduced threats to human welfare and a general resilience of the entire operation as a whole.
If you learn to want these things and chase them as a reflection of God’s Justice, He’ll send His angels to ensure it comes out that way.

The Creator, Not Creation

I lost count how many times the Bible says we must worship the Creator, not Creation.
Biblical religion does not reverence Mother Earth. That does not excuse profligate pollution and other abuses, because those are unjust in God’s view. What it does do is recognize the earth is a living thing, that just like you and I, it can tolerate a certain amount of suffering and sorrow and recover because God heals things all the time.
The issue rests upon His Justice, AKA His Laws. It’s not simply the mechanics of how we do things with nature and the ecology. God is watching over His Word to actively enforce it. He keeps His hand on Creation so it doesn’t dissolve into its constituent parts. You’ll never find a scientific answer why matter doesn’t explode as the positive and negative particles separate because the answer is God Almighty invasively reaching into His Creation and taking care of things. At the point He decides it’s done, He lets go and it all disappears. His revelation defines our part in this whole picture and is God’s guarantee things will keep working as He designed them.
Do we still have rainbows in the sky? Then the Law of Noah remains in effect.
The focus of the Law of Noah is keeping social stability. In turn, God will maintain natural stability. That was the promise. We might remain aware of how our activities affect nature, but the focus is justice among humans. Humans are not a virus infesting the earth; they are fundamental to the purpose of Creation itself. God’s Justice among humans will always take precedence over our perceptions of what might be good environmental science. If we cling to His Justice, He’ll take care of the earth according to His plans. It works like magic, if you will.
If your activities place an unnecessary burden on others — such as pollution — then you are doing evil. Not because it’s an attack on nature, but you are attacking God’s justice. Don’t leave a mess someone else has to clean up before they can live. That applies to land, sea and air. If your actions are consistent with God’s demands, you have nothing to fear.
We worship the Creator, not His Creation, nor any element of it.

This World Is Not My Home

True believers do not belong in this world. We have no home, no place to rest and be ourselves. While we could say the church is supposed to be the place where we can openly live according to the Spirit, people keep bringing their narrow sub-cultural expectations in and demanding conformity. So most churches are little more than social laboratories where you can learn all the ways people refuse to adopt the life of Christ, doing all they can to justify it by perverting His teachings with semantic games.
There is a broad thread of academic social research showing where American white middle class merchant culture comes from. It doesn’t require birth in some other culture to take this seriously; it requires you not take yourself so seriously. I know what I grew up with, the schizophrenia of trying to be honest while suffering from the ambitious materialism of trying to fit into the middle class society. There came a point when something inside of me died. While I struggled for some time after learning how to talk about it, I decided I could no longer take that society seriously. I played along when it really didn’t matter, but fought with hard resolve when it did.
I recognize the flaws and inherent immorality of my peasant class upbringing. There are parts of it I reject, but not with the prissy scolding of the dominant middle class. I reject it from the grounds of some other culture entirely, one that remains to this day utterly alien to the entire gamut of Western sub-cultures visible today. Some time ago I discovered the Ancient Hebrew nomadic culture was designed by God as the optimal atmosphere for fallen humanity, offering the single best chance to have a life worth living. I might not make much noise in some contexts simply because I won’t throw pearls to swine — nothing and no one there holds enough significance to justify my involvement. I’m just tolerating the situation because I can’t control the circumstances. However, should anything or anyone in that context demand I get involved, it will be on the terms my God directs. Screw you and your feelings about what’s important.
That’s called “character.”
I hold the utmost contempt for what most humans consider important. My God says none of it is important unless it flows directly from His revelation. Not your highly perverted cultural overlay claiming to represent what He revealed, but I promote the real thing in all of its ancient Hebrew glory. Let’s cite a few examples.
Don’t like being touched? Stay away from me. My God says we are designed for tender human touch; it’s hard wired. If you resist that, you are embracing evil. I’ll hold out the gentle warm offer, but you had better understand that does not mean I’m a pushover when it comes to something my God requires of me.
Are you worried that touching might have some kind of inappropriate sexual element? Stay away from me. Your silly notions about human sexuality arise from an evil heathen culture that doesn’t know Jesus Christ. Unless a woman is as tough as truck stop waitress, she had better stay away from places where men do what men do. That’s how the Hebrew people handled it, where a man or woman would never address each other in public unless they were family or had essential business to conduct. You don’t have to act like a man to hang out with the boys, but you had better be able to hold your own the way godly women do. That sort of thing is so rare in America, you probably have no real idea what it looks like.
Don’t like the least bit of noise or boisterous behavior? Go home and close the doors and windows; put on headphones or at least ear plugs. That’s how I handle it, because it is wholly unrighteous for me to demand the kids stop playing and discovering their world. I’ll help train my grandchildren, but I’m not your kid to be trained. Shut up and stay out of my world, and I promise I’ll do my best to avoid yours. Meanwhile, you aren’t just wrong, but damned wrong, if you believe your way should rule in this world. There is a time and place for noise and it’s seldom at everyone’s convenience.
If you sense a need to publicize your demands for a better, more civilized society, make sure you get it from the original source. God is not a Western cultural construct. The smothering mothering nanny approach is from Hell. It is entirely good and right that the wrath of God is already beginning to fall on our fake feminist America, and I’m looking forward to some mass slaughter and destruction. How else can I look at it? I don’t rejoice in human suffering; I rejoice in the revelation of God’s wrath on sin. If that wrath rolls through my life in the process, I’m prepared to rejoice in that, too. I fully admit I don’t understand all the ways I disappoint God, but I’m willing to bet I’m way ahead of most everyone I know. Not in self-righteous gloating, but I stand in the assurance I am ready to face the consequences of my choices. Your perceptions and choices are your problem.
Yes, it does breed an element of truculence, but I refuse to be a slave of any mere human. I’m willing to make life difficult for you if that’s what it takes to satisfy Jehovah’s call on my life. I’ll join Jesus in cracking the whip against oppression in my zeal for the Father’s business. I refuse to accept your evaluation of what is just and fair. It’s not a question of whether I’m right or wrong, but whether I obey the best I know. It’s between God and me, and you aren’t in the calculation until after the decisions are made. I sincerely hope you do the same, and I surely expect your mission will intrude on my life some, because I’m hardly perfect. I’m just determined to walk the path I see; I have the confidence of peace with God.
My spirit is rejoicing and my soul is at peace with the destruction already falling around us. I can’t wait for the Lord to call me Home; I’m ready to see the face of God and accept His judgment.
