Heaven's Law Alone

Heed now the Word of the Lord.
Search the Scriptures and they will tell you the same thing. If you read the Bible through the lenses of Western man’s reasoning, you will miss the most important stuff. If you believe the US Constitution in any way reflects God’s Justice, you are too blind to tie your own shoes. All the greatest minds of men have devised what only man might do when things are at their best. They assume mankind is not fallen.
So here’s the real deal: Do not depend on the First Amendment. Don’t even make reference to it. It’s not a question of some imaginary God-given right. It’s a question of God’s calling on your life and His power to back His Word and Spirit in you. If God calls you to speak, then speak and He will defend and enforce His Justice His way.
Do not depend on the Second Amendment. Don’t even make reference to it. It’s not a question of some imaginary God-given right. It’s a question of God’s calling on your life and His power to back His Word and Spirit in you. For some of you, it’s a God-given mandate to have the means to kill other humans. That’s because His mission may include the necessity of defending someone who cannot defend themselves, among other contingencies in this fallen world.
Do not depend on man to uphold God’s justice, much less man’s justice. Even laws of men require a depth of knowledge and commitment to principle you aren’t likely to find in one out a hundred law enforcement agents. It requires them to remain in hovering attendance on your location at all times. Your rights do not exist except on paper and in human imagination. Your God and His Justice reigns over all Creation.
Learn the Laws of God and walk in them. Learn them according to the ancient Hebrew intellectual assumptions in which they were revealed. Everything else you do is mere tactics and strategy.

Virtual Freedom

Very soon people will discover just how completely we are hard-wired to live in a tribal setting and why.
I wasn’t born into the middle class. My parents thought we had arrived when we finally had a middle class income, but were never accepted by that ilk because we didn’t have the habits of mind and the reflexes. Thank God. It was a bitter experience, but made it easy for me to walk away from the American middle class materialist dream and embrace the call of God to become a life-long nomad. For Israel, the Perean Wilderness became the divine boot camp, teaching them to live with nearly nothing, owning nothing and not caring too much because God supplies.
Part of my family belongs to the educated lower class. I’m not much for class struggle, but the biggest blot on Church History in recent times is the attempt to “tame” the wild Ancient Near Eastern Christianity and make it a creature of the Enlightenment merchant class, from which the American middle class arose. Even when you can explain it in great detail the middle class folks understand it intellectually, their hearts are still trapped in that land of Never Was and Never Could Be. They confuse uncivilized with differently civilized.
God called me as a pastoral prophet. I’m not Moses and I don’t have all the answers from God, but I do know the sheeple are staring disaster in the face. Many of them will be lost and a surprisingly large number will die. They keep insisting God and His Creation are something they could it never be. They keep insisting the Laws of God are something different from what He revealed and that by obeying their mythological version they will force God to make things happen as they expect. They keep calling on God with their name-it and claim-it.
I hate writing this, but it’s utterly necessary. Some people already get it, but the sheeple need a much simpler nudge in the right direction. I sincerely hope some few survive. This is for them.
Try to imagine a disaster strikes your area. Homes destroyed, utilities cut off, etc. So it’s just temporary. Maybe you are prepared. Maybe you have your bug-out bag and necessities, you and each member of your household.
But you are caught and herded into some huge centrally located rescue facility. You share this place with large numbers of people, some who don’t quite share your sense of morals and ethics. I’m sure you can recall all the times you were wheedled and harassed about something you had and others demanded you share it. There are whole tribes of people out there who are sincerely convinced you owe them your very existence and that you got what you have on their backs. Even when it is painfully obvious you don’t have enough to share, you’ll be pressured with all sorts of moralizing demands that you give it up. Imagine being in a crowded open prison facility, as it were, with a lot of folks who, when they do that to you, would be acting nice. Plenty are willing to band together and simply take what you have.
1. Know your weaknesses. If you happen to be middle class white Americans, you need to get rid of that false guilt unless you are willing to lose everything. The spiritual answer to this is knowing what God has placed in your hands and what He wants you to give. Don’t give out of false guilt, but of necessity to please God. As a corollary, learn what you truly must have to live and what you can afford to surrender and when. If you don’t get this straight now, you won’t be able to serve Him. People who have never experienced living in adversity and poverty have a really tough time with this.
2. Learn measured violence. Chances are you’ll use violence in the wrong way and at the wrong time. Unless you know your calling from God makes you willing to lose everything and not be concerned, you need to learn when to draw the lines and enforce them clearly and early. Israel at the Conquest was generous and friendly, but they knew their mission from God meant killing people; they knew God’s Laws about it. Maybe you don’t have a hard time turning away the thug who wants to borrow your daughter’s body, but for way too many things it is simply not that clear cut. Some things really aren’t worth fighting for, but if you don’t know the difference, you better be ready for a level of misery and sorrow that you can’t imagine. Learn the biblical concept that context is everything.
3. Make plans. The moment you become aware of official government efforts to corral people, make haste to go in the other direction. If you have swim through sewage, don’t let them put you in their Red Cross prison unless God wants you to go. Here’s a hint: If the charitable institution has government permission to operate, they are forced to act by government rules. Unless the rescue shelter is firmly under local control, stay away. With few exceptions, government officials are uniformly heartless, hateful and vicious about control.
All of this is bluntly contrary to the average cultural expectations of middle class American sheeple. If you happen to know something about Game, you have some hope of unlearning this evil social orthodoxy. Whatever cultural baggage you are carrying probably was not developed and designed to fit in the circumstances you are likely to face starting this year.
You won’t make it alone. If you don’t cultivate an ability to identify and join a like-minded tribe, you might as well prepare to die. There’s nothing wrong with that if you feel led by the Spirit, but don’t be a fool in thinking it can’t happen to you.

Virtual Exodus

Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:6 that the story of the Exodus is a typology (“example”) of our spiritual experience in this world. In particular, the story of the Exodus with all the carping and rebellion was preserved for us so that we could learn from Israel’s mistakes. The prophets made it clear the Lord was protecting His revelation and glory, and Israel was simply the means He chose. He came very close to destroying them all and starting from scratch with Moses, as He had with Noah. We learn from the broader scope of Scripture it wasn’t so much God was anxious to kill them in the wilderness, but He gave Moses the option.
Moses was a true shepherd. He understood from forty years of experience that sheep are stupid. Starting from scratch wouldn’t solve anything. His own brother Aaron, as well as his sister Miriam, were of the same DNA as Moses, and they were as bad as the rest. Starting fresh from Moses’ own children was unlikely to make that much difference. As it was, they all did die in the wilderness, eventually. It was a totally new generation that conquered Canaan. It made enough difference that Moses wasn’t leading a nation of whiners, but of young and vigorous desert nomads; warriors instead of former slaves.
Future generations were unfaithful so long as things were easy. Only when they were living at the gates of Hell were they faithful. The Martyr Stephen was right: They were incredibly stupid about obeying the Covenant. God gave them all the truth anyone could use in this world, sent His personal angelic attendant to walk with them through every trial, and they still kept wandering off at every opportunity. People are like that — only when they have nothing to lose will they push themselves hard enough to do what’s right. Do you know how I can tell when my body isn’t being driven hard enough to please God? I start having episodes of tachycardia. As long as I am careful with my diet and workouts, those episodes never come. It’s not that I care so much about living that much longer, but I have a mission and those episodes really put a damper on my work. They serve as a warning I can’t afford to take it easy, ever.
Paul says the central meaning of the Exodus was the necessity of embracing difficulty and sorrow in exchange for something far more valuable. If you aren’t having trouble in your Christian life, it’s because you already are in trouble, enslaved to some comfort that will hold you back from seeing God’s glory. You can stay on the Nile Delta and suffer the eventual wrath of God meant for others, or you can wander the more difficult places in this world because that’s where God stands and beckons to those who want to see His face.
America is under God’s wrath. Sure, if you can leave to other lands, by all means, go. Most of us are called to stay physically even as we leave in spirit. America represents the highest level of luxury and worldly comforts, but like Babylon, she must fall from her vast mountain of sins piled up in God’s face. If you don’t understand how America has sinned, then stay here and enjoy the plagues. Your slavery will continue until you are ground into the sand on the banks of the Nile. You won’t simply make bricks, but you’ll be turned into bricks for some fruitless and frivolous purpose aggrandizing mere humans.
The Exodus is not so much about facing a prepper’s apocalyptic future; that’s thinking on the wrong level. Take your wilderness refuge in the mountains of Idaho or Montana or wherever you think you can hide out; that’s fine. Meanwhile, the more important point is to divorce yourself from the meaning of American Babylon. Restore the standards of God’s Justice as Jesus taught it. Turn from the sins that bring the decadent luxuries; turn from the Western materialism. Turn from the intellectual legacy of the West and return to where God stands ready to meet you in the wild lands of Hebrew Mysticism.
How easily we forget that the Ancient Hebrew intellectual culture was the one God specifically built for His revelation. You don’t get the full light of His glory without going back to that.

Our Own Sparing

While typically translated into English as “Passover,” the original contextual meaning of the word meant sparing something from wrath. In our day, the term should be “Sparing.”
Notice the parallels. There are a lot of Christians, but most of them are so absorbed in their slavery that they aren’t interested in what God really wants. You’ll note the Israelites were hostile to the idea of leaving Egypt. The outspoken elders of the clans and tribes objected every step of the way. They watched the miracles and still fought Moses all the way to the Promised Land.
God is about to bring a series of destructive actions on America. Before it is over, our lives will become much more miserable. The psychopaths playing as our Pharaoh and Court would rather see us die than let us go. A good many of us will be slaughtered in the process — count on it. The best we can hope for is obedience to God’s Laws. We have the symbolic blood of Christ as our Sparing Sacrifice, but you’d be surprised how many of our fellow believers are unwilling to so much as splash a bit on the door posts of their lives.
It won’t be pretty. We don’t have a Moses this time. Our escape won’t be literal, and there’s no Reed Sea to cross. The oppressors will be crushed, but unfortunately, it will be after they have done some truly awful things to us. At some point when the horrific crushing hand of God gets too much for them and there is no way to pass the costs onto us, and God will offer an escape to His followers who remain faithful.
The time is now to begin searching the Bible with a true Hebrew mind to see what Jesus taught about how to claim His blood sacrifice for our lives. Stirring emotions won’t change anything. Just saying the words won’t be enough. Believing intellectually won’t make you right. You have to be committed enough to have your life packed up and ready to move at His command. You have to understand the full meaning of God’s Laws behind those words, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” If you assume you have it all worked out already, you are wrong.
Seek His face sincerely while there’s time and repent. Obeying His Laws, as His Son taught them, is how you’ll be spared the worst of this.

Pastoral Ruminations

I struggle daily — hourly — living in two worlds.
It’s already a major strain trying to live in Two Realms at the same time, but I am also pushing against a bitter hostility to the truth from virtually the entire world of falsehood. It’s like defending a tiny island of truth against the incessant invasion of a world of lies. The only reason I bother with studying literature, history, culture and philosophy is because I have this powerful sense of burden about setting people free. My ceaseless babble about Aristotle, Germanic tribal mythology, the Enlightenment, and all the other stuff is because those are major sources of soul-crushing lies.
Allow me to pick out a single item. You are perhaps aware of the Greek mythology tales of Charon and the ferry of the dead across the River Styx. Perhaps you are aware how it reflects a common theme in virtually all pagan mythology. There is something fundamental to this myth that is a blatant rejection of the biblical concept of Two Realms. The notion you could cross over by any means to the abode of the dead and return simply reinforces the lie of unitary reality. Virtually every human influenced by Western Civilization instinctively embraces this myth. Only a tiny slice of those are even aware of the power of this myth.
I struggle to find words to express the truth of things because our language excludes the categories of truth. Our entire universe sits inside a bubble of space and time, while outside it stands the Ultimate Reality of Eternity. God is rooted outside that bubble, yet every moment of every day I bump into Christian words and thoughts demanding I mentally stuff God back down inside this temporary bubble of false reality. The very choice of words in most Christian writing reaffirms the lie. Our culture makes it impossible to understand God views all of human history as a single thing before Him, where His awareness can reach into any part of past, present or future all at once. He has already shaped the end of things, yet we still have “Christians” insisting God can’t know the future. Worse yet, we have millions of believers who assume fundamentally God cannot see the future without any conscious recognition of it.
We are deeply bound by our assumptions about reality, assumptions that come from the mouth of Satan. We cannot see intellectually beyond our experience of time and space limitations, so we assume God is limited the same way. This, despite flat assertions to the contrary in Scripture. We read all sorts of false assumptions back into His revelation, essentially nullifying it’s power, tying His hands and insisting He can’t say certain things.
Thus, Christians also end up justifying the accusation that our faith is mythology. Christians use words to proclaim a faith in which they cannot possibly walk because everything in the very pattern of their intellectual process militates against it. So they push belief off into some special realm like phony magic. In the process, they are reaffirming the ancient heathen cultural assumptions of the German tribes that overran Europe a mere four centuries after Christ. We have a world of Western Christianity fundamentally programmed in agnosticism. Faith becomes an inexplicable “magic” of the European mythology instead of the very conscious grasp of faith and divine logic which pervades the Bible. People can’t walk in true biblical faith because their own brains betray them.
Yeah, this stuff matters.

Zechariah 14 (Updated)

(I wasn’t quite at peace with the first attempt, so after getting a better write-up, I’m posting it as an update.)
Zechariah has been presenting in deeply symbolic language what God could and would do for any people who make Him truly Lord of their lives. Had we dragged it all down to literalism, we would have missed the best part. Sadly, we know the most influential teachers of the Scripture among the Jews did this very thing. Worse, we have today a vast horde of professing Christians who perpetuate this error. When reading this chapter, understand it as pure symbolism. There isn’t any particular logical order; it is not sequential or chronological, but soaring far above mere words to drag our weak minds into the Realm of the Spirit to taste just a bit of the truth.
The Day of the Lord is coming. Even if Judah does lay claim to all these marvelous promises, there will finally come a day when it will all end for this earth. What can we say about the End of Time?
Characteristic of every prophetic description of that Last Day of the Lord, we are warned mankind will rise up against the message of God. Jerusalem symbolizes the place on earth from which God’s revelation flows out. That message was meant to be incarnated in His people, but the point is the message itself. Whomever it is walking in His Word at The End will face a vigorous global attack. The world at large will finally be united in one thing, this final act of defiance against the Creator. They will attack and it will seem they have succeeded, because they are depicted as collecting the spoils of war. Roughly half of this People of God will die or be captured and abused in this seeming victorious attack. The rest will somehow manage to survive this siege.
Right when it seems all hope is lost for those who love the Lord, He will come to end the whole charade. Zechariah describes a scene where the mere touch of the Lord’s feet on the earth would change the whole landscape. The mountain ridge east of Jerusalem would be parted like the sea at the Exodus. Don’t get lost in the details of the imagery, because it seems the Lord allows His people to escape even as He rescues them in place. How would you explain something for which there is no equivalent human experience so far? This highway symbolizes how the Lord with gather the survivors at His coming. (The New Testament adds the concept we’ll be gathered to Him in the air.) Zechariah describes this scene in familiar terms, echoed in the words of other prophets. For example, he mentions the endless fountain flowing from the Temple to the seas east and west, seen previously in Ezekiel. There is also an end to the current cycle of day and night, because time will be no more.
In our minds we have to understand he describes both the days after Christ and Eternity at the same time. What we experience in these Last Days brings a taste of Eternity, so the symbolism applies in some ways to both.
God will take the throne of all Creation and change everything, a new heaven and earth will replace the old. But in those final moments, he describes how the enemies of God’s Word will destroy themselves. Because they rejected His Word, they will never make any more noise. Because they refused to see His truth, their eyes will be gone. They’ll turn on each other, because their prey will be out of reach. Zechariah draws a picture of the rural residents of Judah coming in to attack the rear of the enemy formation. The enemy camp will be plundered, but all their lives, even their war animals, would die. At the moment of human triumph against God’s revelation, it all comes apart on them.
Think of an age when God rules directly on the earth. How easy to live in a land where all is relatively flat and lush like the Lower Jordan Valley, yet the Dead Sea will be fresh water. It won’t be necessary to discuss a Trinity any longer, because God Himself in His own form will be there, personally present in an Ultimate Reality no longer divided. There would be no way to resist His divine rule. The images of God punishing the nations who don’t celebrate His reign is perhaps more easily understood as applying during this Messianic Age. Anyone unwilling to serve Him would receive none of His promised blessings. Instead, they’ll face all the curses. Those who do not celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles, when the rituals symbolized the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, would be punished severely. Everything — every little detail of life, such as the decorative items on a horse’s bridle — would be stamped as Property of God Almighty. There would be nothing He didn’t own directly, including us.
Were this meant literally, it would be a confusing jumble, not entirely consistent with other prophesies of the End Times. However, we rightly understand this as parable, symbolism of how God does things. The coming of Christ as Savior was down payment for Eternity. How would someone describe the joys of walking in the Spirit in the Last Days before the End of All Things?

Virtual Church

Let’s face it folks: Almost the entirety of my ministry is online.
I’m not going to pretend I’m running an online church. It’s just not the same. But, for those of you who need some kind of clergy contact with no strings attached, I’m here for you. I am no brand of Christian you’ll recognize, so I don’t care what sectarian label you associate with. I don’t care if you aren’t Christian; you can be any religion you like if you tolerate what I write here. You don’t need any religion at all. But the moment you need to talk to someone as if to a clergyman, you got it.
In case you are wondering, I am officially ordained and registered in the state where I live. If you can get me to the physical location, I can do your wedding and funerals. And if you just have to do a private confession of something, it’s only as secure as the means you use, but I can at least pretend I can hold it in confidence. I haven’t been pressed to divulge anything yet, but you never know what various governments might decide about such things from one day to the next. Still, I take it seriously.
I don’t pass the plate, don’t seek donations for some tax-free corporation, etc. There are no funny uniforms and you can don’t need to watch your language.
There you go folks; I am your virtual local circuit riding clergyman.

No Conspiracy

If we all agree in our hearts we must resist evil, it matters not how we go about it individually.
Leaderless Resistance is an old idea, but it doesn’t go far enough. That is, it still allows too much traceable cooperation. It was originally envisioned as a way to take physical action in resistance to some government or other controlling institution. They are expecting that. Even if you take full advantage of things like the flashmob effect, you still run the risk of serious threat to the resistance members, needless bloodshed. Demonstrations, riots, guerrilla warfare — all of it is nearly pointless unless you are very highly organized and normally invisible to the system you are fighting. Not only is this becoming increasingly difficult, it’s just about pointless.
These days, the only way to literally break down the system is literally kill the people running it. Those people are psychopaths; there is no moral suasion possible. You can’t simply inconvenience them until they give you a bone and you certainly can’t change their minds. Killing them runs the risk of doing entirely too much evil yourself.
There is one exception: Dissolve the controls. Stop and think about that for a moment. You and I know the sheeple will always be the last to bolt from the disaster. We cannot count on them for anything, yet God holds us accountable for their care. He has a use for them and we are obliged to honor that, even as we hardly understand more than a tiny little slice of it. If that. So we have to do things His way or He will not bless it. We dissolve their controls by sapping the moral power of their evil ways.
It’s not a conspiracy if each of us goes about things according to His divine guidance. You do what you do best in His service and I’ll do the same. All we have to do, in the process, is each realize we are using His powers to bring His glory and enlightenment into this Shadow World. Sometimes it means taking very literal physical action, but with all of us working according to His divine direction, it cannot fail His purpose. His purpose often includes destroying the evil works of humanity, a judgment against their sins. Not in a fashion comfortable to our human reasoning, but you can’t rush His work.
Allow me to make a suggestion: His primary mission among men can be viewed as revealing His Justice. Not something written in human language, I’m talking about that indefinable moral purpose which is woven into His entire Creation. You must have some kind of Net access or you wouldn’t be reading this, no? So take advantage of this means to communicate His glory and His Justice. You read stuff you can surely understand in light of His glory; share it. On your own blog or social media account somewhere, just share stuff you think reflects His viewpoint. Make some original comments about something you discover. It won’t matter if it’s some political article — anything at all. Write out the burdens of your heart regardless of your interests. Show His glory in whatever tickles your fancy.
In the process, you cannot help but strike against His enemies. It may be entirely metaphorical, but that’s fine. Symbolism is the language of Heaven on earth in the first place. Just revel in His glory as best you know it. Somebody somewhere will be touched by it; guaranteed. That’s how God works. And as more and more people are touched by His glory, more people will turn to His ways. He said He’d be willing to work with a tiny slice, a slender minority, and perform mighty miracles against evil. The vast weight of His mighty hand working through angels cannot be measured, but where a few people are walking in His truth, the demons are crushed.
We need no conspiracy to destroy evil governments. God will do it and He’s quite willing to let us come along for the ride. Hop on board!

Isaiah Review

This book is one of the harder books to write.
I’ve just finished reviewing my notes for the Book of Isaiah. He represents the pinnacle of Hebrew prophetic literature, so very otherworldly. You can just imagine Jesus saying, “How shall I describe the Kingdom of Heaven?” We know Isaiah was one of His favorites, quoting him so often. With the depth of his talent, we know Isaiah still hardly scraped the surface because Eternity is simply beyond human language and thought.
When your spirit is alive and well, and sensitive to such things, reading Isaiah can wear you out. Your mind reels with the depth of expression, the density of thoughts in so few words. Your body is quickly exhausted trying to keep up with the heavy demands. I’m physically tired.
I can’t count how often I had to get up and do something just to give my body a rest from the intensity as I worked back through my notes on the chapters of Isaiah. Naturally, I reviewed the Scripture text of each chapter to insure I hadn’t missed something God wanted me to say. I’m afraid my poor attempt to capture things will never rise to the original. My prayer is those who read the resulting book will be equally torn, because if the flesh dies not, the spirit cannot rise closer to Heaven.
I’m hoping to have the manuscript ready over the weekend. The chapter notes on my static website will be changed after checking the grammar one last time.
