Plans Afoot

I’ve asked my friend, Tim Butler, to set up a blog on our server using his Open Source CMS, SAFARI 2 (all caps). I won’t have a link until it’s up and running, but I’ll post that soon as it happens. The new blog will have the same name as this, and pretty much the same range of material, but a different appearance entirely. I will, in essence, be helping Tim to beta test recent improvements in the project.
For Linux fans, you may have already noticed I’m not writing that much about it any more. The reason is obvious from what I have written recently: I believe Linux GUI development is going in the wrong direction. That could change, but I doubt it will. Meanwhile, I still have plenty to rant about in terms of religion, philosophy, politics, and various applications of the title and subtitle of this blog. This blog will remain open and I’ll monitor and respond to future comments, but I won’t be adding any posts of significance because WordPress is making it too difficult for serious writers.
Be looking for the switch soon.
