Maze of Booby Traps

Take a look around you. When you understand the underlying objective is to find a pretext for martial law, crushing slavery and genocide, nothing surprises you any more.

I’ve asserted in the past I am utterly certain TPTB don’t really care who wins, but would benefit greatly from a new Civil War in the US, and indeed, the whole world. Babylon feeds on war; it’s the most profitable enterprise in human history. Where typical human conflict is not sufficient to start a war, conflict must be created. Paradoxically, the false conflicts are the ones which profit most. Wars based on lies — such as our adventures in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and soon Iran — are extremely hard to justify, so the tension is cranked very high to keep the momentum going. The most visceral hatreds are those with no foundation at all.

The new Civil War in the US could come from any number of things. First is the police state. Back when even crooks pretended to some noble internal code, the police forces had only one real target. So TPTB armed and trained a new class of criminals to present some actual threat to cops. With some prompting, the police agencies reacted with appropriate paranoia and hysteria about heavily armed crooks. TPTB even got a few daring raids provoked with robbers wearing body armor which standard police weapons couldn’t penetrate. So we now justify a ton of high-powered weapons, then body armor for cops, but what really mattered was the “everyone is my enemy” mentality of modern policing. Naturally, the most arrogant thugs available are always selected for the job. “You will cower, Citizen, or I will torture you!” Then, we can expect a fresh Ruby Ridge or Waco scenario, both of which were blatantly provoked on fake evidence of crimes, to become more frequent. The term “unaccountable” is simply too weak to describe it.

At the same time, the slow build up of tyranny on the national scale is now bearing fruit. The tools were established under previous, fairly intelligent and willful tyrants, particularly of the Republican stripe. Now we have a whole new generation of “opposition” folks in charge, and these are classic Limousine Liberals. They grew up with Nannies, or believe they should have, and possess not a scintilla of social intelligence beyond the meager experience of their cloistered communist academia. It’s not that Obama and friends don’t care what you and I think. They can’t imagine that we think. So we have all these proposals which don’t simply continue the worst of the Bush regime, but make it all far more evil.

But the Health Care debate, the bailouts, gun laws, increasing warfare abroad, communist activists at home, etc. — it’s all a distraction. These things will surely bring profits, but they are not the main event. The main even will be martial law, which can easily arise from any just resistance to the tyrannies before us. TPTB know what they are doing. They are pushing every button repeatedly, harder and harder, because they deeply desire an armed revolt. They know martial law will fail; they know the goons in government will end up dead or in hiding; they know thousands of police and maybe troops will be killed, along with thousands of civilian resistors and plenty of innocents. TPTB are hoping to see it. It worked so well in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and a hundred other places; it will surely work here. Chaos is more profitable than peace.

We are swept along by events far, far larger than we normally can grasp. The breaking point in many places is already oh so near. What can you do?

Step back and see the bigger picture. Think holistically. In some ways, the die is cast and we cannot escape certain parts of this. A great many will have to decide to grovel or fight, but don’t be fooled into thinking you can escape conflict. Those who grovel will be drafted to fight the resisters. You may find yourself having to choose between the lesser of evils, between one thug regime and another. Polarization is almost certain, though in most cases the difference will be artificial. Appeals to false absolutes will be plentiful. The basic fact remains you will be forced to fight one side or another. But you need not buy the whole package. You can choose to commit only so much as your better understanding permits. Draw your own lines of conscience and conviction. The end of the road on this coming Civil War will probably not come during our lifetime, even if we survive the current conflagrations. This has been in the works for at least a couple of centuries, so it won’t be spent in just a couple of years.

Take a good long, hard look in the mirror of your soul. Don’t allow any of the multiple parties in the coming conflict to borg your soul. It’s all just noise, the standard noise of human existence on a broken plane, a plane which cannot ever be repaired. Don’t get too wrapped up in it. Look beyond to things which manifest here, but don’t come from here. A part of you is rooted there. Feel for those roots.

Back On the Squeeze Console

I’ve decided I really must have one good console-only system. Since the old Pavilion 542x is hardly much good for GUI stuff, that was where it went. I still have CentOS 5 on the Inspiron for times when I have to have a GUI.

Not much has changed since the first foray there. This time there was a bigger fight for the sound. On this machine, I had to add blacklist snd-pcsp to /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf to prevent it loading before the kernel found the ICH4 sound chips on the mobo.

Other than that, I’m enjoying serving once again with the Brotherhood of the Commandline.

It’s Getting Old Already

So now they are proposing fining anyone who doesn’t pay for health insurance. Another special interest group handed billions on a silver platter. HMOs exist to make a profit, and they do so by finding excuses to deny you medical care for which you pay them to manage. The only health they care about is corporate.

Some folks are warning, claiming to leak information not accessible to the public, about a possible 9-11 with nukes in coming days. We’ve already had the story about man-pack nukes slipped across our border from Mexico. Another fellow recently listed the cities; the nearest to me would in Houston. Sounds like setting us up for a false flag operation.

Scare stories about the Flying Pigs Flu are all over the place. Of course, numbers are exaggerated to ridiculous levels by very shoddy testing, and simply seizing upon anything which might vaguely resemble the symptoms of any flu at all. Draconian measures are being announced here and there for those who know better than believe any of the hype.

The military wants to keep 400,000 troops in the US as backup for police. You know, to keep order and so forth. For now, it’s nothing like that many, but with all the proposals for more troops here and there around the world, we are looking at a total military force addition of 1 million new troops. I don’t think there will be anywhere near that many volunteers, so look for some sort of special recall and draft.

Let’s not forget, the dollar is looking very, very weak and shaky. What happens when suddenly nobody outside the US wants any of them? China is already trying to dump their dollar holdings, and the UN has proposed replacing it with something else.

Can you say “martial law”?

There Will Be War

If you cared enough to look at all the evidence, from as far back as WW1, GEN Butler (USMC) told us war was a racket. Even our revolutionary war included some hidden profit motives never discussed in mainstream history lessons. In those days, it was more difficult to be sure they’d collect, but these days the corporate war mongers have it nailed down.

We funded the Nazis in Germany. Did you know we funded the Viet Cong during the Viet Nam war? We did so indirectly, via funding we sent to the USSR. And today we are funding the Taliban in Afghanistan. And at least some of the roadside bombs in Iraq are funded by the CIA and other clandestine services. Yes, there are people in this country who would start a war just so they could profit from the massive tax expenditures, and would gladly fund the enemies to make sure the war is long, impossible to win, and verrrrrrry expensive. Most of our dead and wounded troops are that way because of some corporate demon somewhere in the US.

So we shall have war in Iran, too. We have already started in Pakistan, unofficially, as we have in Georgia. Since there is no way we’ll be able to field enough troops for this via volunteer enlistments, you can be sure an awful lot of mercenaries will be used. They already outnumber the official troops in the Middle East. But that, too, will not be enough. Look for more efforts made to make military service a good deal. Look for more efforts to recall people too injured, too mentally ill, too old — just about anyone who has ever served at any time is subject to it. Then, look for a draft.

When your own government is your worst enemy, what do you do?

Don’t Do That GMO Blues

GMO = Poison.

I make no apologies for opposing genetically modified organisms (GMO) as a source for food. It’s nasty stuff; it’s shaking one’s fist in the face of God. Our Creator knew what He was doing, and gene manipulation as practiced by the likes of Monsanto and friends is a rejection of God. Even animals know better.

Take a look at the the Non-GMO Shopping Guide. Your life depends on it.

Truth Doesn’t Sell

Telling the truth won’t make you any money. There might be a jillion different reasons, but I’m sure one of them is truth doesn’t really care about making money. That’s the way truth works.

Of course, we all know the consuming public doesn’t want truth, but entertainment. That’s why Rush Limbaugh is so popular. Legend has it he once admitted his schtick was not about accuracy and truth, but entertainment. He’s a performer first and foremost. So it goes with Hannity, O’Reilly, Michael Moore, and even portions of the 9-11 Truth Movement. Even when you don’t have to pay to get a seat, you can tell when someone is using the entertainment value to make a buck. That is, you can tell, provided you have this irreverent tendency to poke around backstage.

To keep that money rolling in, we have an all-encompassing system in place to prevent truth from interfering with the profits. Any truth anywhere is a threat to wealth because, as I said before, truth is willing to take a loss for truth’s sake.

The quest for truth and justice in politics is dead from the start. Politics is the art of lying to get and maintain control.

The problem, I suggested to Bob, was to be found in the fundamental tension between individual liberty and institutional success. While, as social beings, each of us has a need for cooperation with others – which allows us to enjoy the benefits of social organization – there comes a point at which the success of such associations seduces us into wanting to establish them as a permanent presence in our lives. We soon find ourselves attracted to thinking of the organization not simply as a convenient tool for the accomplishment of our mutual interests, but as an end in itself, as its own reason for being. Once people begin thinking this way, it becomes easy to accept the idea of having the government confer trillions of dollars upon corporations that are no longer capable of functioning in the marketplace, or to rationalize the slaughter of hundreds of thousands of men, women, and children in the name of glorifying the empire that inflicts such death and destruction.

Yet, to identify the conflict as merely “individual versus community” is itself propaganda. A community is only so viable as the individuals live in freedom to be themselves. Once we get past the assumption of zero aggression, that you must accept some limits for the sake of fairness and freedom for others, we don’t really need too much organization. Things organize themselves pretty much spontaneously among adults. I’ve seen it a thousand times in my own personal experience; it’s a reliable fact of human nature on which you can build community. The real leadership takes place in keeping folks from demanding too much organization.

When you are secure and comfortable in your own skin, you aren’t too worried about the skins of others, nor the contents. You can afford to let folks be whom they are without feeling threatened. We can love them because there is the unspoken assumption we are free to opt out of things we find distasteful, and no one gets hurt.

There’s no money in that. People who understand it don’t need much money, and people who don’t understand it don’t want much else besides money. It boils down to money as the means to gaining the illusion of control over the illusion of a dangerous world. Yes, the world is fallen, and there are predators and threats everywhere. But they usually know when you aren’t a victim-in-waiting, and true freedom and truth tend to make you confident in God’s provision. A critical element in predation is the entertainment factor of seeing fear in others. Take that away and you’ll see far fewer attempts to intimidate.

The whole idea is to realize people are alive, and all their associations are alive. Predation is hardly different from government, regardless of any claims to legitimacy, simply because it demands things be static. In humanity, “static” is a synonym for “dead.” As it is for individual people, so it is for communities. Change is the essence of living things, and a community without constant change is dead.

The problem is that, the more successful an organization becomes, the greater is the tendency to want to protect its existence. Bankers, investors, and members who had been attracted to this body for reasons other than philosophic commitment, soon begin to look upon the uncertainties that accompany liberty and change as a form of entropy to be disposed of in the least-costly manner possible. The short-term materialistic benefits that derive from organizational activity begin to overwhelm the principled purposes from which the body began.

Life, liberty and truth — all names for the same thing — won’t add much to the quarterly bottom line. Instead, it tends to drain resources. When all you care about is some MBA-style measure of success, you don’t want freedom for all, only yourself. When you value that one thing, you’ll pay any price to get it. That scares people who don’t already have it.

More Maybes on Flu Propaganda

Today, Bloomberg’s claimed the flu vaccine being produced for use in the US will not contain adjuvants because the FDA hasn’t approved them yet.

Tell that to the veterans suffering from Gulf War Syndrome.

This is a propaganda ploy, an attempt to answer one small part of the larger argument against flu vaccines. First, it would not be the first time the FDA lied about something, telling us one thing publicly while doing something else secretly. So they may say the adjuvants aren’t approved, but then quietly approve them as an emergency measure. Never forget, the FDA is run by the same people they are supposed to regulate.

Second, Novartis could be lying, and it wouldn’t matter because they can’t be held liable. Their record isn’t that good, either.

But the point which matters most is vaccines don’t work in the first place (see this and this for a quick overview). The most effective treatments happen to be the cheapest, so don’t expect to find them discussed in the mainstream press.

Recent blog exposures of plans to force inoculations, the Massachusetts draconian plans across the board for quarantine, etc., and the attendant hue and cry have caused a few state officials to back down a bit. I’m watching Obama and friends stumble through this business of ruling, seemingly in shock folks just might start shooting if they implement some of their communist plans. It makes you wonder what planet those folks live on, because it doesn’t take a genius to point out the obvious anger, not to mention the ammunition and gun buying spree. These are not simply hunters, but folks who realize the 2nd Amendment was about resisting oppression and tyranny.

My greatest concern is they’ll plunge ahead heedlessly on those awful things not yet discussed in public.

How Far Will It Go?

There is rampant speculation regarding the impending burst of tyranny in the US.

I’m not a prophet. I’m just another blogging idiot with an opinion, but I contend it’s an informed opinion. I’ve worked in government and law enforcement, among other things. I’ve lived long enough to watch government figures do some of the awfullest things, watched it up close in a few cases. The arrogance and willful stupidity can be breathtaking at times. I’ve also read the thoughts of some truly unconscionable theorists, promoting notions which reduce humans to something approximating hens in a CAFO egg farm, and I note many of them now serve in the US government.

That a change, a major ground shift, is coming is simply unquestionable. Government is releasing information carefully crafted to create a climate of fear. The only possible motive is to make sure there is bloody chaos to excuse a major crackdown, severe and painful repression.

The estimates range between life in Soviet Russia all the way to something which makes current conditions in Gaza look like a vacation. Can you picture folks volunteering to serve in Iraq or Afghanistan so they can take a break? The extreme pundits indicate something a planned mass reduction in population, and a favorite hobby horse is forced inoculations of fatal poisons masked as Swine Flu vaccine.

Perhaps the hardest part is estimating the level of complicity in various actors on the stage of this drama. I’ve already noted my opinion, but let’s review:

  • The President is an empty suit, a man for sale, and will do what his owners tell him. Pay no attention to his words, but watch what he signs off on, because his handlers are the real rulers.
  • Congress is a mixed bag: a few who hope to do good, a great many convinced they know what’s good, most are bought and paid for, and small core who have consciously sold their souls to Satan.
  • The Supreme Court is loaded now with sharp legal minds chained to hideous delusions of what “justice” means.
  • A very large number of CEOs who would wipe the earth of all life if they could escape with a good profit. However, it seems this quarter’s bottom line looks good with just a heedless pollution of known toxins which work slowly enough for them to deploy that golden parachute just before it all collapses.
  • Somewhere out there is a known core of elite would-be global rulers.

Most everyone else is a puppet on a string. A precious few might be able and willing to cut those strings, but it’s a race to see if they’ll wake up soon enough to commit to a course of justice. This would be the armed government thugs, some of whom do have an active conscience. By no means should you imagine the flag ranks of the military are uniformly anything. I suspect the good guys are outnumbered, though. Whether they can really get the troops on the ground to do their will remains to be seen. The current expeditions in the Middle East seem partially designed to reduce the likelihood of dissent in the ranks. It wouldn’t surprise me to read accusations those who retain a conscience are the ones coming home in bags, boxes or wrapped in bandages.

Need I remind my readers there are several states already making noises about opting out of the national madness? There are levels of resistance somewhat short of outright secession, so we should expect a good portion, particularly in the Heartland, will simply refuse to cooperate. Much depends on the particular mix of tricks and tacks which end up being used to justify martial law. I’m pretty sure there will be a declaration of martial law, but I doubt it will be evenly applied in all parts of the US.

Not just in the back of my mind am I praying God save me from having to play soldier again. I don’t fear a military draft which might actually go so far as to capture aging men like me. Should I sense the calling of God in it, I’ll go. Otherwise, I’m pretty sure I’ll have lots of company in resisting. Rather, my real dread is having to fight in a civil war here. There is no eagerness for adventure and warfare surging in my breast, but by the same token, I’ll certainly engage whomever makes themselves my enemy, to include the entire system of government currently slouching toward that final breaking point when we just can’t take any more. Whatever life or death these ruling elite have planned for us, I’d rather die on terms of my own choosing.

I’m hardly alone. How many I’ll stand with depends on how far is “too far” in the minds of those likely to resist. The problem is we dare not forget all this crap going on will surely encourage the predators in our world to come out and play. So while we may or may not fight any oppressors, we will surely be fighting all too soon ordinary criminal gangs. We are in for a rough ride.

Just Pretend

Nothing has happened to change my conviction the world will change dramatically before Christmas. We won’t recognize it.

But let’s pretend for a moment my conspiracy theories about how it will change are all wrong. Let’s take away the one major variable of human choices, choices by some alleged global elite. Let’s further pretend all my dire predictions of really bad policy moves also fails to come true, and we just muddle along with the government unable to act.

What’s left? The economy is still headed down. It won’t matter what anyone does at this point, or what they believe. We are all — not just the government, but the entire nation as a whole — so deep in debt, we cannot climb out. If the government folks do what amounts to nothing, we will crash into a deep spiral of collapsing economic activity. There is no means to reawaken consumer spending, on which the entire economy depends, because the consumers have almost nothing to spend. And they won’t be getting any more, because nearly the entire industrial base has been off-shored and we don’t actually make anything here except a few weapons systems and such.

That alone will change our world. At a minimum, there will be no materialist Christmas paradise. At a minimum, all that imported merchandise will stay on the shelves and in the warehouses, and even more of it will never reach the ports here. Our most recent Gilded Age is over.

People will still be losing homes, businesses shutting down and making ever more folks unemployed, and transportation will become mostly a matter of feet. Folks will get hungry. Lots of folks. Crime will skyrocket like nothing we have ever imagined. Violence will grow with it. Try to imagine massive metropolitan areas without the mass of life supporting goods coming in to stock the shelves.

Next, imagine how government will operate without tax revenue. While the Fed can keep feeding itself by having the Treasury borrow at the current rate, and the Federal Reserve keep buying the debt bonds back through proxies — which it now does — there will still be a major drop in actual tax revenue, because there won’t be anything to tax. State and local governments don’t have a money printer. More unemployment, as the massive revenue losses sweep the nation, and government services simply stop.

This will happen, and soon.

But if this is all that happens, assuming I can still access the Net at all, I’ll keep my promise and shut down this blog. We have roughly a month left, I believe, before the Powers That Be start putting the squeeze on us. So I will give it until roughly mid-October.

Lessons in Propaganda: My Dog Tank

There is a popular tale making the email rounds. Among the various titles, I received it as “To Whoever Gets My Dog”. This is merely pro-war jingoist propaganda (not to mention bad grammar — try “Whomever” as in “To Whom”).

As far as anyone has tried to find, it’s not a true story. I won’t bother duplicating the research, because the underlying point is too obvious, whether the story is true or not. It’s designed to evoke feelings, thus shutting down any hope of rational discussion. It creates an atmosphere wherein reason is smothered by a wealth of prejudice.

The fundamental issue is our wars in the Middle East are utterly abhorrent before God because there is nothing in them to promote His justice. You should know I have no quarrel with national defense, but those people did nothing to us, nor even provided a significant threat to any of our allies. Whatever Iraq was, we created it. We made Saddam Hussein, and gave him whatever weapons of mass destruction he ever possessed. He was our thug, bought and paid for, and we simply created false excuses to attack him. If the real objective had been simply to remove him because he was our thug, it could easily have been done with a lot less mess. Instead, we have some 4000 troops dead, trillions of dollars wasted, a million plus Iraqis dead, and ancient tensions brought to life in a country which had been pretty stable. We have further doomed all citizens of that land to the worst level of poverty and misery because we have destroyed 100 parts for every one part of their infrastructure we rebuilt. Our actions there are utterly criminal, and if that’s not enough, we have created persecution for Christians, which nearly did not exist before our invasion. We have attacked God on this one.

As for Afghanistan, it’s much the same story. Let’s point up our national crimes there by one primary item: heroin. When the Taliban ruled, heroin was in short supply coming out of Afghanistan. The CIA and other clandestine services, we can easily prove, have used major drug trafficking to fund their nefarious activities. Among other things, this was a primary reason for attacking the Taliban. Whereas, Afghanistan under the Taliban produced a couple hundred tons of heroin per year, now it’s several thousand tons. Sure, our troops there are shutting down the fields they find, but we know from leaked documentation the CIA considers this just the cost of doing business. Look, the Pan Am bombing over Lockerbie was entirely a matter of killing some CIA contractors who were going to rat out the CIA full-timers on the Afghan production. We are doing nothing good in Afghanistan compared to our destruction.

And any imagined threat from radical Islamic terrorists is entirely the creation of our CIA, in league with allied clandestine services, in the first place. The Taliban are little more than sons of the Mujaheddin we funded to oust the Soviets. Further, it’s not hard to find lots of evidence linking CIA funding to many Taliban leaders and Al-Qaeda, as well. The schizophrenia of our foreign policy, with our own black ops folks killing our soldiers is amazing, and one of the best kept secrets of our time.

But the dog story was designed to teach us to ignore all that and focus on what great heroes our troops are. They may well be that; I knew a few back when I served around the time of the first Gulf War. That doesn’t change how utterly stupid is the policy which expends hero lives in futility. I assure you, plenty of our national leaders are in on this real life conspiracy, aimed at enriching a small handful of greedy elite on the backs of the sheeple. This little tear-jerker fills us with warmth about dogs and soldiers, but serves to destroy God’s own truth.

Our nation has sinned mightily and refuses to repent. All we have to show for it is cute fiction to cover the slaughter. There is nothing noble about it.

Update: Oh, just dandy. We have also invaded Pakistan. Yes, and Iran is next. God help us.
